Combination Fitted and Top Sheet Bedding Device
Abstract
A combination fitted and top sheet bedding device facilitates putting sheets onto a mattress. The device includes a fitted sheet having a gathered perimeter edge wherein the fitted sheet is configured for coupling to a mattress such that the fitted sheet extends over a top surface of the mattress. A top sheet has a foot section and a head section. The foot section has a peripheral edge coupled to the fitted sheet in spaced relationship to the perimeter edge of the fitted sheet such that the foot section of the top sheet and the fitted sheet define a pocket configured for receiving legs of a person lying on the mattress.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A combination fitted and top sheet bedding device comprising:
a fitted sheet having a gathered perimeter edge wherein said fitted sheet is configured for coupling to a mattress such that said fitted sheet extends over a top surface of the mattress; and a top sheet having a foot section and a head section, said head section having a width greater than said foot section, said foot section having a peripheral edge coupled to said fitted sheet in spaced relationship to said perimeter edge of said fitted sheet such that said foot section of said top sheet and said fitted sheet define a pocket configured for receiving legs of a person lying on the mattress.
2 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising said head section of said top sheet having a free outer edge relative to said fitted sheet.
3 . The device of claim 2 , further comprising said head section having a medial portion, said medial portion being aligned with outermost edges of said foot section, said head section having a pair of outer portions, said outer portions extending laterally outward from said medial portion of said head section wherein said outer portions extend laterally outward relative to said foot section.
4 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising a blanket coupled to said fitted sheet and said top sheet such that said top sheet is positioned between said fitted sheet and said blanket.
5 . The device of claim 4 , further comprising said blanket having a coupled edge coextensive with said peripheral edge of said foot section.
6 . The device of claim 3 , further comprising a blanket coupled to said fitted sheet and said top sheet such that said top sheet is positioned between said fitted sheet and said blanket, said blanket being coextensive with and covering said top sheet.
7 . A combination fitted and top sheet bedding device comprising:
a fitted sheet having a gathered perimeter edge wherein said fitted sheet is configured for coupling to a mattress such that said fitted sheet extends over a top surface of the mattress; a top sheet having a foot section and a head section, said head section having a width greater than said foot section, said foot section having a peripheral edge coupled to said fitted sheet in spaced relationship to said perimeter edge of said fitted sheet such that said foot section of said top sheet and said fitted sheet define a pocket configured for receiving legs of a person lying on the mattress, said head section of said top sheet having a free outer edge relative to said fitted sheet, said head section having a medial portion, said medial portion being aligned with outermost edges of said foot section, said head section having a pair of outer portions, said outer portions extending laterally outward from said medial portion of said head section wherein said outer portions extend laterally outward relative to said foot section; and a blanket coupled to said fitted sheet and said top sheet such that said top sheet is positioned between said fitted sheet and said blanket, said blanket having a coupled edge coextensive with said peripheral edge of said foot section, said blanket being coextensive with and covering said top sheet.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
