Video display system, video display device, contents server, video display method, and video display program

Abstract

In a system configured to enable mutual communications between a contents server and a video display device, the contents server is configured to accumulate a plurality of video contents, receive operator analysis information transmitted from the video display device, select at least one video content from the plurality of accumulated video contents based on the operator analysis information received by an operator information receiving unit, and transmit the selected content to the video display device. The video display device is configured to receive a digital broadcast wave, select a digital broadcast program, acquire the operator analysis information of the video display device, transmit the acquired operator analysis information to the contents server, receive the video content transmitted from the contents server, and select and display one of the digital broadcast program selected by a digital broadcast program selector and the video content received by a video contents receiving unit.

1 . A video display system configured to enable mutual communications between a contents server and a video display device via a network,
 wherein the contents server includes:   a video contents accumulating unit which accumulates a plurality of video contents;   an operator information receiving unit which receives operator analysis information transmitted from the video display device; and   a video contents transmitting unit which selects at least one video content from the plurality of video contents accumulated in the video contents accumulating unit based on the operator analysis information received by the operator information receiving unit, and transmits the selected video content to the video display device, and   the video display device includes:   a digital broadcast program selecting unit which receives a digital broadcast wave and selects a digital broadcast program from the received digital broadcast wave;   an operator information acquiring unit which acquires the operator analysis information of the video display device;   an operator information transmitting unit which transmits the operator analysis information acquired by the operator information acquiring unit to the contents server;   a video contents receiving unit which receives the video content transmitted from the contents server; and   a display unit which selects and displays one of the digital broadcast program selected by the digital broadcast program selecting unit and the video content received by the video contents receiving unit.   
     
     
         2 . A video display system configured to enable mutual communications between a contents server, an information terminal and a video display device via a network,
 wherein the contents server includes:   a video contents accumulating unit which accumulates a plurality of video contents;   an operator information receiving unit which receives operator analysis information transmitted from the video display device; and   a video contents transmitting unit which selects at least one video content from the plurality of video contents accumulated in the video contents accumulating unit based on the operator analysis information received by the operator information receiving unit, and transmits the selected video content to the video display device,   the information terminal includes:   a memory unit which stores personal information of an operator of the information terminal; and   a personal information transmitting unit which transmits the personal information stored in the memory unit to the video display device, and   the video display device includes:   a digital broadcast program selecting unit which receives a digital broadcast wave and selects a digital broadcast program from the received digital broadcast wave;   a personal information receiving unit which receives the personal information transmitted from the information terminal;   an operator information transmitting unit which transmits the operator analysis information acquired by referencing the personal information received by the personal information receiving unit to the contents server;   a video contents receiving unit which receives the video content transmitted from the contents server; and   a display unit which selects and displays one of the digital broadcast program selected by the digital broadcast program selecting unit and the video content received by the video contents receiving unit.   
     
     
         3 . The video display system according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the video display device further includes:   a program information acquiring unit which acquires program information of the digital broadcast program selected by the digital broadcast program selecting unit, and   based on information described in the program information acquired by the program information acquiring unit and indicating whether the digital broadcast program selected by the digital broadcast program selecting unit is replaceable or not, the display unit selects and displays the digital broadcast program selected by the digital broadcast program selecting unit without change if the program is not replaceable, and the display unit selects and displays the video content received by the video contents receiving unit if the program is replaceable.   
     
     
         4 . A video display device capable of communicating with a contents server which accumulates video contents and capable of displaying the video content received from the contents server or a digital broadcast program, the video display device comprising:
 a digital broadcast program selecting unit which receives a digital broadcast wave and selects a digital broadcast program from the received digital broadcast wave;   an operator information acquiring unit which acquires operator analysis information of the video display device;   an operator information transmitting unit which transmits the operator analysis information acquired by the operator information acquiring unit to the contents server;   a video contents receiving unit which receives the video content transmitted from the contents server in accordance with the operator analysis information transmitted by the operator information transmitting unit; and   a display unit which selects and displays one of the digital broadcast program selected by the digital broadcast program selecting unit and the video content received by the video contents receiving unit.   
     
     
         5 . The video display device according to  claim 4 , further comprising:
 a video input unit which inputs a face image of an operator of the video display device,   wherein the operator information acquiring unit acquires the operator analysis information by estimating a gender and/or an age of the operator of the video display device based on the face image input by the video input unit.   
     
     
         6 . The video display device according to  claim 4 , further comprising:
 an audio input unit which inputs voice data of an operator of the video display device,   wherein the operator information acquiring unit acquires the operator analysis information by estimating a gender and/or an age of the operator of the video display device based on the voice data input by the audio input unit.   
     
     
         7 . A video display device capable of communicating with a contents server which accumulates video contents and an information terminal and capable of displaying the video content received from the contents server or a digital broadcast program, the video display device comprising:
 a digital broadcast program selecting unit which receives a digital broadcast wave and selects a digital broadcast program from the received digital broadcast wave;   a personal information receiving unit which receives personal information of an operator of the information terminal transmitted from the information terminal;   an operator information transmitting unit which transmits operator analysis information, which is acquired by referencing the personal information received by the personal information receiving unit and includes information of a gender and/or an age of the operator of the information terminal, to the contents server;   a video contents receiving unit which receives the video content transmitted from the contents server in accordance with the operator analysis information transmitted by the operator information transmitting unit; and   a display unit which selects and displays one of the digital broadcast program selected by the digital broadcast program selecting unit and the video content received by the video contents receiving unit.   
     
     
         8 . The video display device according to  claim 4 , further comprising:
 a program information acquiring unit which acquires program information of the digital broadcast program selected by the digital broadcast program selecting unit,   wherein based on information described in the program information acquired by the program information acquiring unit and indicating whether the digital broadcast program selected by the digital broadcast program selecting unit is replaceable or not, the display unit selects and displays the digital broadcast program selected by the digital broadcast program selecting unit without change if the program is not replaceable, and the display unit selects and displays the video content received by the video contents receiving unit if the program is replaceable.   
     
     
         9 . A contents server capable of communicating with a video display device which selects and displays one of a digital broadcast program and a video content, the contents server comprising:
 a video contents accumulating unit which accumulates a plurality of video contents;   an operator information receiving unit which receives operator analysis information about an operator of the video display device transmitted by the video display device; and   a video contents transmitting unit which selects the video content to be displayed as a replacement of the digital broadcast program on the video display device from the plurality of video contents accumulated in the video contents accumulating unit based on the operator analysis information received by the operator information receiving unit, and transmits the selected video content to the video display device.   
     
     
         10 . A video display method of a video display device capable of communicating with a contents server which accumulates video contents and capable of displaying the video content received from the contents server or a digital broadcast program, the video display method comprising:
 a digital broadcast program selecting step of receiving a digital broadcast wave and selecting the digital broadcast program from the received digital broadcast wave;   an operator information acquiring step of acquiring operator analysis information of the video display device;   an operator information transmitting step of transmitting the operator analysis information acquired in the operator information acquiring step to the contents server;   a video contents receiving step of receiving the video content transmitted from the contents server in accordance with the operator analysis information transmitted in the operator information transmitting step; and   a display step of selecting and displaying one of the digital broadcast program selected in the digital broadcast program selecting step and the video content received in the video contents receiving step.   
     
     
         11 . A video display method of a video display device capable of communicating with a contents server which accumulates video contents and an information terminal and capable of displaying the video content received from the contents server or a digital broadcast program, the video display method comprising:
 a digital broadcast program selecting step of receiving a digital broadcast wave and selecting the digital broadcast program from the received digital broadcast wave;   a personal information receiving step of receiving personal information of an operator of the information terminal transmitted from the information terminal;   an operator information transmitting step of transmitting, as operator analysis information, information of a gender and/or an age of the operator of the information terminal acquired by referencing the personal information received in the personal information receiving step to the contents server;   a video contents receiving step of receiving the video content transmitted from the contents server in accordance with the operator analysis information transmitted in the operator information transmitting step; and   a display step of selecting and displaying one of the digital broadcast program selected in the digital broadcast program selecting step and the video content received in the video contents receiving step.   
     
     
         12 . A video display program of a video display device capable of communicating with a contents server which accumulates video contents and capable of displaying the video content received from the contents server or a digital broadcast program, the video display program causing the video display device to execute:
 a digital broadcast program selecting step of receiving a digital broadcast wave and selecting the digital broadcast program from the received digital broadcast wave;   an operator information acquiring step of acquiring operator analysis information of the video display device;   an operator information transmitting step of transmitting the operator analysis information acquired in the operator information acquiring step to the contents server;   a video contents receiving step of receiving the video content transmitted from the contents server in accordance with the operator analysis information transmitted in the operator information transmitting step; and   a display step of selecting and displaying one of the digital broadcast program selected in the digital broadcast program selecting step and the video content received in the video contents receiving step.   
     
     
         13 . A video display program of a video display device capable of communicating with a contents server which accumulates video contents and an information terminal and capable of displaying the video content received from the contents server or a digital broadcast program, the video display program causing the video display device to execute:
 a digital broadcast program selecting step of receiving a digital broadcast wave and selecting the digital broadcast program from the received digital broadcast wave;   a personal information receiving step of receiving personal information of an operator of the information terminal transmitted from the information terminal;   an operator information transmitting step of transmitting, as operator analysis information, information of a gender and/or an age of the operator of the information terminal acquired by referencing the personal information received in the personal information receiving step to the contents server;   a video contents receiving step of receiving the video content transmitted from the contents server in accordance with the operator analysis information transmitted in the operator information transmitting step; and   a display step of selecting and displaying one of the digital broadcast program selected in the digital broadcast program selecting step and the video content received in the video contents receiving step.   
     
     
         14 . A video display system configured to enable mutual communications between a contents server and a video display device via a network,
 wherein the contents server includes:   a video contents accumulating unit which accumulates a plurality of video contents;   a contents list information transmitting unit which transmits list information of the video contents accumulated in the video contents accumulating unit to the video display device;   an information receiving unit which receives a transmission request signal and operator analysis information transmitted from the video display device; and   a video contents transmitting unit which selects at least one video content from the plurality of video contents accumulated in the video contents accumulating unit based on the transmission request signal and the operator analysis information received by the information receiving unit, and transmits the selected video content to the video display device, and   the video display device includes:   a contents list information receiving unit which receives the list information transmitted from the contents server;   an operator information acquiring unit which acquires the operator analysis information of the video display device;   an information transmitting unit which transmits the transmission request signal of the video content selected from the list information received by the contents list information receiving unit and the operator analysis information acquired by the operator information acquiring unit to the contents server;   a video contents receiving unit which receives the video content transmitted from the contents server; and   a display unit which displays the video content received by the video contents receiving unit.   
     
     
         15 . A video display system configured to enable mutual communications between a contents server, an information terminal and a video display device via a network,
 wherein the contents server includes:   a video contents accumulating unit which accumulates a plurality of video contents;   a contents list information transmitting unit which transmits list information of the video contents accumulated in the video contents accumulating unit to the video display device;   an information receiving unit which receives a transmission request signal and operator analysis information transmitted from the video display device; and   a video contents transmitting unit which selects at least one video content from the plurality of video contents accumulated in the video contents accumulating unit based on the transmission request signal and the operator analysis information received by the information receiving unit, and transmits the selected video content to the video display device,   the information terminal includes:   a memory unit which stores personal information of an operator of the information terminal; and   a personal information transmitting unit which transmits the personal information stored in the memory unit to the video display device, and   the video display device includes:   a contents list information receiving unit which receives the list information transmitted from the contents server;   a personal information receiving unit which receives the personal information transmitted from the information terminal;   an information transmitting unit which transmits the transmission request signal of the video content selected from the list information received by the contents list information receiving unit and the operator analysis information acquired by referencing the personal information received by the personal information receiving unit to the contents server;   a video contents receiving unit which receives the video content transmitted from the contents server; and   a display unit which displays the video content received by the video contents receiving unit.   
     
     
         16 . A video display device capable of communicating with a contents server which accumulates video contents and capable of displaying the video content received from the contents server, the video display device comprising:
 a contents list information receiving unit which receives list information of the video contents accumulated by the contents server transmitted from the contents server;   an operator information acquiring unit which acquires operator analysis information of the video display device;   an information transmitting unit which transmits a transmission request signal of the video content selected from the list information received by the contents list information receiving unit and the operator analysis information acquired by the operator information acquiring unit to the contents server;   a video contents receiving unit which receives the video content transmitted from the contents server in accordance with the transmission request signal and the operator analysis information transmitted by the information transmitting unit; and   a display unit which displays the video content received by the video contents receiving unit.   
     
     
         17 . The video display device according to  claim 16 , further comprising:
 a video input unit which inputs a face image of an operator of the video display device,   wherein the operator information acquiring unit acquires the operator analysis information by estimating a gender and/or an age of the operator of the video display device based on the face image input by the video input unit.   
     
     
         18 . The video display device according to  claim 16 , further comprising:
 an audio input unit which inputs voice data of an operator of the video display device,   wherein the operator information acquiring unit acquires the operator analysis information by estimating a gender and/or an age of the operator of the video display device based on the voice data input by the audio input unit.   
     
     
         19 . A video display device capable of communicating with a contents server which accumulates video contents and an information terminal and capable of displaying the video content received from the contents server, the video display device comprising:
 a contents list information receiving unit which receives list information of the video contents accumulated by the contents server transmitted from the contents server;   a personal information receiving unit which receives personal information of an operator of the information terminal transmitted from the information terminal;   an information transmitting unit which transmits a transmission request signal of the video content selected from the list information received by the contents list information receiving unit and operator analysis information including information of a gender and/or an age of the operator of the information terminal acquired by referencing the personal information received by the personal information receiving unit to the contents server;   a video contents receiving unit which receives the video content transmitted from the contents server in accordance with the transmission request signal and the operator analysis information transmitted by the information transmitting unit; and   a display unit which displays the video content received by the video contents receiving unit.   
     
     
         20 . A video display device capable of communicating with a contents server which accumulates video contents and an information terminal and capable of displaying the video content received from the contents server, the video display device comprising:
 a contents list information receiving unit which receives list information of the video contents accumulated by the contents server transmitted from the contents server;   a personal information receiving unit which receives personal information of an operator of the information terminal transmitted from the information terminal;   an information transmitting unit which transmits a transmission request signal of the video content selected from the list information received by the contents list information receiving unit and operator analysis information including information of a viewing history of the selected video content of the operator of the information terminal acquired by referencing the personal information received by the personal information receiving unit to the contents server;   a video contents receiving unit which receives the video content transmitted from the contents server in accordance with the transmission request signal and the operator analysis information transmitted by the information transmitting unit; and   a display unit which displays the video content received by the video contents receiving unit.   
     
     
         21 . A contents server capable of communicating with a video display device which displays a video content, the contents server comprising:
 a video contents accumulating unit which accumulates a plurality of video contents;   a contents list information transmitting unit which transmits list information of the video contents accumulated in the video contents accumulating unit to the video display device;   an information receiving unit which receives a transmission request signal for requesting transmission of the video content selected by an operator of the video display device based on the video contents list information transmitted by the contents list information transmitting unit and operator analysis information about the operator of the video display device, the transmission request signal and the operator analysis information being transmitted by the video display device; and   a video contents transmitting unit which selects the video content to be displayed on the video display device from the plurality of video contents accumulated in the video contents accumulating unit based on the transmission request signal and the operator analysis information received by the information receiving unit, and transmits the selected content to the video display device.
