Abstract
Guitar-securing device characterized in that it comprises an element for fastening to a surface, which has an arm, a structural element, connected to said arm, and that runs via the rear part of the guitar, said structural element having at least a first element for connection to a first stud for a strap of said guitar and/or an element for joining to the neck of the guitar.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed:
. A guitar-securing device, comprising:
an attachment member, comprising an arm configured to effect attachment to a surface, a structural member connected to said arm, which passes along the back part of the guitar, the structural member having at least one first connecting member to the neck of the guitar.
. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the attachment member to the surface has a ball and socket joint at the end of the arm.
. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the attachment member is connected to a pedestal.
. The device according to clam 1 , wherein the attachment member has a plate with openings and bolts for connection to a wall.
. The device according to claim 2 , wherein an intermediate connecting member configured to rotate with respect to the ball and socket joint, and to which the structural member is joined, is located between the structural member and the ball and socket joint.
. The device according to claim 5 , wherein the intermediate connecting member has a wheel configured to adjust the angle of rotation between the ball and socket joint and the structural member.
. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the structural member comprises a laminar member located on the back face of the guitar.
. The device according to claim 7 , wherein a foam material is placed between the laminar member and the back face of the guitar.
. The device according to claim 7 , wherein the structural member comprises a second laminar member connected to the first laminar member by means which permit the relative position between the two members to be varied.
. The device according to claim 9 , wherein the means which permit the relative position to be varied comprise at least one elongated opening in one of the laminar members, a set of smaller openings corresponding to the elongated opening and located in the laminar member which does not contain the aforesaid elongated opening, and at least one pin capable of passing through the elongated opening and one of the corresponding smaller openings.
. The device according to claim 7 , wherein the laminar member comprises a set of orifices which allow the attachment member to be joined to the wall and the structural member in different relative positions.
. The device according to claim 7 , wherein the laminar member is a plate, the contour of which matches that of the guitar to be supported.
. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the first connecting member to the neck of the guitar comprises a U-shaped member to support the structural member to the neck of the guitar.
. The device according to claim 13 , wherein the U-shaped member has a connection with the structural member such that the U is located around the back face and side surfaces of the guitar neck, leaving the side of the neck with the guitar strings largely unobstructed.
. The device according to claim 13 , wherein the U-shaped member comprises a cushioned surface for contact with the guitar neck and two adjustable clamp members.
. The device according to claim 13 , wherein the U-shaped member is connected to the structural member through a sliding connection with a rod.
. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the device has a further connecting member to the guitar neck which comprises a contact surface with the back of the neck and a crook-shaped member for contact with the part of the neck over which the guitar strings run.
. The device according to claim 1 , further comprising a second connecting member to a support stud configured to affix a belt of the guitar, located on one of the shoulders of the guitar.
. The device according to claim 18 , wherein the second connecting member is a laminar bracket connected to the structural member, the laminar bracket being arranged for connection to a support stud for the belting of the guitar.
. The device according to claim 19 , wherein the laminar bracket and the structural member are connected by means of a second elongated opening located in the laminar bracket, at least a corresponding second opening corresponding to said second elongated opening and being located in the laminar member and a pin passing through both openings.
. The device according to claim 12 , wherein the structural member comprises further openings which are close together to vary the point of connection to the laminar bracket.
. The device according to claim 19 , wherein the laminar bracket has a ladle shape, at one of its extremities, being arranged to receive a support stud of a guitar.
. The device according to claim 19 , wherein the laminar bracket further comprises a recess to receive a support stud configured to affix a belt of the guitar.
. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one first connecting member to the neck of the guitar consists in a clamp.
. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the connecting member to the neck of the guitar comprises two connecting members to said neck of the guitar.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
