Facial muscle trainer

Abstract

A facial muscle trainer for training the facial muscles of a person, having a C-shaped clamp with two legs, which are joined by a joint piece, as well as two bite surfaces being arranged at the ends of the legs, characterized in that the facial muscle trainer has at least one rib at at least one of the two legs running along the longitudinal direction of the leg, increasing the stiffness of the leg.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A facial muscle trainer ( 1 ) for training the facial muscles of a person, comprising a C-shaped clamp with two legs ( 2 ,  3 ), which are joined by a joint piece ( 4 ), as well as two bite surfaces ( 5 ,  6 ) being arranged at the ends of the legs ( 2 ,  3 ), characterized in that the facial muscle trainer ( 1 ) has at least one rib ( 7 ) at at least one of the two legs ( 2 ,  3 ) running along the longitudinal direction of the leg ( 2 ,  3 ), increasing the stiffness of the leg ( 2 ,  3 ). 
     
     
         2 . The facial muscle trainer ( 1 ) according to  claim 1 , wherein at least one rib ( 7 ) is at both legs ( 2 ,  3 ). 
     
     
         3 . The facial muscle trainer ( 1 ) according to  claim 2 , wherein each of the two legs ( 2 ,  3 ) has a multitude of ribs ( 7 ). 
     
     
         4 . The facial muscle trainer ( 1 ) according to  claim 2 , wherein the ribs ( 7 ) are arranged at the outsides of the legs ( 2 ,  3 ). 
     
     
         5 . The facial muscle trainer ( 1 ) according to  claim 4 , wherein interspaces being present between the ribs ( 7 ) are purged with a silicone or silicone-like material. 
     
     
         6 . The facial muscle trainer ( 1 ) according to  claim 2 , wherein the ribs ( 7 ) are arranged at insides of the legs ( 2 ,  3 ). 
     
     
         7 . The facial muscle trainer ( 1 ) according to  claim 6 , wherein the interspaces being optionally present between the ribs ( 7 ) are purged with a silicone like material. 
     
     
         8 . The facial muscle trainer ( 1 ) according to  claim 1 , further comprising an elastic body ( 8 ) being arranged or arrangeable between the two legs ( 2 ,  3 ). 
     
     
         9 . The facial muscle trainer ( 1 ) according to  claim 8 , wherein at the inner side of both legs ( 2 ,  3 ) one or several, then in longitudinal direction subsequently arranged mountings ( 9 ) for the elastic body ( 8 ). 
     
     
         10 . The facial muscle trainer ( 1 ) according to  claim 1 , wherein the bite surfaces ( 5 ,  6 ) are limited by means of raised structures ( 10 ) in direction of the joint piece ( 4 ) and/or in direction of the tip. 
     
     
         11 . The facial muscle trainer ( 1 ) according to  claim 1 , wherein trainer is flattened at the outer region of the joint piece ( 4 ) so that it has feet ( 11 ) onto which it can be placed. 
     
     
         12 . The facial muscle trainer ( 1 ) according to  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the legs ( 2 ,  3 ) has at its outside beyond the bite surface ( 5 ,  6 ) a grip surface for holding with several fingers. 
     
     
         13 . The facial muscle trainer ( 1 ) according to  claim 1 , wherein both legs ( 2 ,  3 ) are designed identically.
