Abstract

A display system for noteworthy DVDs, providing a “gold record” presentation for life's priceless memories is provided. The display system embodies a frame forming a flange recess disposed along a display opening, wherein a peripheral portion of a transparent front panel is sandwiched between the recess flange and a back panel. The back panel is pivotally connected to the frame so that the display system moves from an open configuration to a closed configuration. A DVD post is disposed along the back panel for providing a “gold record” presentation of the noteworthy DVD in the closed configuration.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A display system comprising:
 a frame forming a recess flange along a periphery of a display opening;   a back panel pivotally connected to the frame, wherein the back panel is defined by a back surface and an opposing display surface;   a DVD post disposed along the display surface; and   a transparent front panel, wherein a peripheral portion thereof is sandwiched between the display surface and the recess flange.   
     
     
         2 . The display system of  claim 1 , wherein the DVD post is disposed to be generally centered relative to the display opening. 
     
     
         3 . The display system of  claim 1 , further comprising a DVD cavity disposed concentrically about the DVD post. 
     
     
         4 . The display system of  claim 3 , wherein the depth of the DVD post is equal to or less than the depth of the DVD cavity. 
     
     
         5 . The display system of  claim 1 , further comprising a stand disposed along the back surface, wherein the stand forms two generally perpendicular standing planes. 
     
     
         6 . The display system of  claim 1 , further comprising a knob disposed along the back surface. 
     
     
         7 . The display system of  claim 1 , further comprising a hanger connected to a backside of the frame. 
     
     
         8 . The display system of  claim 1 , further comprising a cover image and a divider panel sandwiched between the transparent front panel and the display surface so that the cover image is facing the transparent front panel. 
     
     
         9 . The display system of  claim 1 , further comprising a DVD engaged by the DVD post. 
     
     
         10 . A display system comprising:
 a frame forming a recess flange along a periphery of a display opening;   a back panel pivotally connected to the frame, wherein the back panel is defined by a back surface and an opposing display surface;   a DVD post disposed along the display surface so as to be generally centered relative to the display opening;   a DVD cavity disposed concentrically about the DVD post, wherein the depth of the DVD post is equal to or less than the depth of the DVD cavity;   a transparent front panel, wherein a peripheral portion thereof is sandwiched between the display surface and the recess flange;   a cover image and a divider panel sandwiched between the transparent front panel and the display surface so that the cover image is facing the transparent front panel;   a stand disposed along the back surface, wherein the stand forms two generally perpendicular standing planes;   a knob disposed along the back surface;   a hanger connected to a backside of the frame; and   a DVD engaged by the DVD post.
