Shaving razors and cartridges

Abstract

A shaving razor with a housing dimensioned to receive at least one blade. The housing has a pair of spaced apart opposing parallel walls each defining a fully enclosed opening that extends completely through the respective walls.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A shaving razor comprising:
 a housing having a first wall defining a first fully enclosed opening extending there through and a second wall defining a second fully enclosed opening extending there through;   at least one blade mounted to the housing;   a shaving razor handle;   a first and second arms between the handle and the housing, the first arm having a pin member extending outwardly from the first arm, and the second arm having a pin member extending outwardly from the second arm, each pin member having a semi-circular cross section shape, the pin member of the first arm is positioned within the first opening and the pin member of the second arm is positioned within the second opening, wherein the semi-circular cross sectional shape of the pin members within the corresponding fully enclosed opening provide for a gap between the each wall and the corresponding pin members.   
     
     
         2 . The shaving razor of  claim 1  wherein the pin members are tapered. 
     
     
         3 . The shaving razor of  claim 2  wherein the pin members are truncated. 
     
     
         4 . The shaving razor of  claim 3  wherein the first wall and the second wall are positioned between a pair of end walls and of the housing. 
     
     
         5 . The shaving razor of  claim 4  wherein the first wall is slidingly engaged between the pin member and a support member of the first arm and the second wall is slidingly engaged between the pin member and a support member of the second arm. 
     
     
         6 . The shaving razor of  claim 5  wherein the gap is about 0.1 mm to about 0.5 mm.
