Abstract
A floor cleaning machine, particularly for household use, includes a box-like body that defines a compartment for accommodating a cylindrical brush that has a horizontal axis. The compartment has, at one end, an access opening that can be closed by means of a closure door that has a rim adapted to engage, by interlocking, the rim of the access opening Elastic pusher elements are provided that act on the closure door in order to facilitate its disengagement from the access opening and elements for the removable locking of the closure door in the condition for closing the access opening
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A floor cleaning machine, particularly for household use, comprising a box-like body that defines a compartment for accommodating a cylindrical brush that has a horizontal axis, said compartment having, at one end, an access opening that can be closed by means of a closure door that has a rim adapted to engage, by interlocking, the rim of said access opening, further comprising elastic pusher means that act on said closure door in order to facilitate its disengagement from said access opening, removable locking means being provided for the removable locking of said closure door in the condition for closing said access opening.
2 . The machine according to claim 1 , wherein said elastic pusher means comprise at least one spring that is interposed between said closure door and said brush.
3 . The machine according to claim 2 , wherein said at least one spring rests, at one of its ends, against a shoulder defined on said brush and abuts, at its other end, against the face of said closure door that is directed toward said compartment.
4 . The machine according to claim 2 , wherein said at least one spring is accommodated in a chamber, which is defined axially in said brush and is open at least at the end of said brush that is directed toward said access opening, a supporting body for the brush being associated with said closure door and being adapted to engage said chamber.
5 . The machine according to claim 1 , wherein said removable locking means comprise at least one pair of movable teeth, which are mutually opposite and are adapted to engage respective engagement seats defined in the wall that delimits said compartment.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
