Abstract

Methods, systems, and apparatus for providing compartmented, collaborative, integrated, automated analytics to analysts are provided. In a first aspect, the present invention provides a computer-implemented method for providing compartmented, collaborative, integrated, automated analytics to analysts including: selecting a computer-encoded project-specific workflow; determining a computer-encoded compartment manager, said computer-encoded compartment manager including computer-encoded information about the context of said project-specific workflow; retrieving said computer-encoded information about the context; selecting a computer-implemented automated analytic using said computer-encoded project-specific workflow; providing under control of said computer-encoded compartment manager said information about the context to said automated analytic; processing said computer-encoded information using said computer-implemented automated analytic, to generate thereby analytical information representing an outcome to said analysts; and processing said analytical information in accordance with said computer-encoded compartment manager and said computer-encoded project-specific workflow.

         25 . A computer-implemented method for providing compartmented, collaborative, integrated, automated analytics to an analyst to provide compartmentalized information among two or more analysts, comprising:
 determining the identity of at least one individual analyst, said determining being performed electronically using an electronic computer processor under control of electronically encoded instructions to process electronically electronic data encoding representations of said at least one individual analyst;   associating said at least one individual analyst with at least one project, said project having a set of information compartmentalization requirements, said associating being performed using an electronic computer processor under control of electronically encoded instructions to process electronically electronic data encoding representations of said at least one individual analyst and said information compartmentalization requirements;   selecting an electronically encoded automated analytic, said selecting being performed electronically using an electronic computer processor under control of electronically encoded instructions to process electronically said electronically encoded automated analytic;   providing an electronically encoded compartment manager, said compartment manager being configured to support compartmentalization of information by restricting the access and use of electronically encoded information by said at least one analyst and said at least one automated analytic, according to at least one attribute of said at least one analyst, at least one attribute of said information compartmentalization requirements of said project, or both;   providing under control of said electronically encoded compartment manager electronically encoded information about said compartmentalization requirements of said project to said at least one automated analytic; and   processing said electronically encoded information using said automated analytic while maintaining said compartmentalization requirements, to generate thereby analytical information representing an outcome to said at least one analyst, said processing being performed electronically using an electronic computer processor under control of electronically encoded instructions to process electronically said electronically encoded information.   
     
     
         26 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 25 , further comprising selecting under computer control using an electronic computer processor at least one of said one electronically encoded automated analytics based on an electronically encoded workflow. 
     
     
         27 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 25 , further comprising maintaining under computer control using an electronic computer processor electronically encoded compartmentalization requirements of said project with respect to said generated analytical information. 
     
     
         28 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 27 , wherein said information compartmentalization is based, at least in part, on an attribute of said analyst. 
     
     
         29 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 28 , wherein said attribute of said analyst is specified by said workflow. 
     
     
         30 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 25 , wherein said compartmentalization requirements specify that information be blocked, used opaquely, or used visibly. 
     
     
         31 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 30 , wherein said compartmentalization requirements specify that information is based at least in part on the selected automated analytic. 
     
     
         32 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 30 , wherein said compartmentalization requirements specify that information is based at least in part on at least one analyst attribute. 
     
     
         33 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 32 , wherein said analyst attribute is at least one of an analyst ID, at least one analyst role, or at least one analyst group membership. 
     
     
         34 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 25 , wherein said at least one automated analytic is chosen from the group consisting of MHG Automated Analytic, ACH Automated Analytic, QC Automated Analytic, and IV Automated Analytic. 
     
     
         35 . A computer system for providing compartmented, collaborative, integrated, automated analytics to an analyst to provide compartmentalized information among two or more analysts, said system comprising at least one electronic processing device configured to implement:
 an electronically encoded, computer executable electronic data processing service configured to determine the identity of at least one individual analyst, said determining being performed electronically using an electronic computer processor under control of electronically encoded instructions to process electronically electronic data encoding representations of said at least one individual analyst;   an electronically encoded, computer executable electronic data processing service configured to associate said at least one individual analyst with at least one project, said project having a set of information compartmentalization requirements, said associating being performed using an electronic computer processor under control of electronically encoded instructions to process electronically electronic data encoding representations of said at least one individual analyst and said information compartmentalization requirements;   an electronically encoded, computer executable electronic data processing service configured to select an electronically encoded automated analytic, said selecting being performed electronically using an electronic computer processor under control of electronically encoded instructions to process electronically said electronically encoded automated analytic;   an electronically encoded, computer executable electronic data processing service configured to provide an electronically encoded compartment manager, said compartment manager being configured to support compartmentalization of information by restricting the access and use of electronically encoded information by said at least one analyst and said at least one automated analytic, according to at least one attribute of said at least one analyst, at least one attribute of said information compartmentalization requirements of said project, or both;   an electronically encoded, computer executable electronic data processing service configured to provide under control of said electronically encoded compartment manager electronically encoded information about said compartmentalization requirements of said project to said at least one automated analytic; and   an electronically encoded, computer executable electronic data processing service configured to process said electronically encoded information using said automated analytic while maintaining said compartmentalization requirements, to generate thereby analytical information representing an outcome to said at least one analyst, said processing being performed electronically using an electronic computer processor under control of electronically encoded instructions to process electronically said electronically encoded information.   
     
     
         36 . The computer system of  claim 35 , further comprising an electronically encoded, computer executable electronic data processing service configured to select under computer control using an electronic computer processor at least one of said one electronically encoded automated analytics based on an electronically encoded workflow.

The computer system of  claim 35 , further comprising an electronically encoded, computer executable electronic data processing service configured to maintain under computer control using an electronic computer processor electronically encoded compartmentalization requirements of said project with respect to said generated analytical information. 
     
     
         38 . The computer system of  claim 37 , wherein said information compartmentalization is based, at least in part, on an attribute of said analyst. 
     
     
         39 . The computer system of  claim 38 , wherein said attribute of said analyst is specified by said workflow. 
     
     
         40 . The computer system of  claim 35 , wherein said compartmentalization requirements specify that information be blocked, used opaquely, or used visibly. 
     
     
         41 . The computer system of  claim 40 , wherein said compartmentalization requirements specify that information is based at least in part on the selected automated analytic. 
     
     
         42 . The computer system of  claim 40 , wherein said compartmentalization requirements specify that information is based at least in part on at least one analyst attribute. 
     
     
         43 . The computer system of  claim 42 , wherein said analyst attribute is at least one of an analyst ID, at least one analyst role, or at least one analyst group membership. 
     
     
         44 . The computer system of  claim 35 , wherein said at least one automated analytic is chosen from the group consisting of MHG Automated Analytic, ACH Automated Analytic, QC Automated Analytic, and IV Automated Analytic.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium containing computer-readable program control devices thereof, said computer-readable program control devices being configured to enable a computer to provide compartmented, collaborative, integrated, automated analytics to an analyst to provide compartmentalized information among two or more analysts, by causing said computer to execute computer-controlled, electronically encoded operations comprising:
 determining the identity of at least one individual analyst, said determining being performed electronically using an electronic computer processor under control of electronically encoded instructions to process electronically electronic data encoding representations of said at least one individual analyst;   associating said at least one individual analyst with at least one project, said project having a set of information compartmentalization requirements, said associating being performed using an electronic computer processor under control of electronically encoded instructions to process electronically electronic data encoding representations of said at least one individual analyst and said information compartmentalization requirements;   selecting an electronically encoded automated analytic, said selecting being performed electronically using an electronic computer processor under control of electronically encoded instructions to process electronically said electronically encoded automated analytic;   providing an electronically encoded compartment manager, said compartment manager being configured to support compartmentalization of information by restricting the access and use of electronically encoded information by said at least one analyst and said at least one automated analytic, according to at least one attribute of said at least one analyst, at least one attribute of said information compartmentalization requirements of said project, or both;   providing under control of said electronically encoded compartment manager electronically encoded information about said compartmentalization requirements of said project to said at least one automated analytic; and   processing said electronically encoded information using said automated analytic while maintaining said compartmentalization requirements, to generate thereby analytical information representing an outcome to said at least one analyst, said processing being performed electronically using an electronic computer processor under control of electronically encoded instructions to process electronically said electronically encoded information.   
     
     
         46 . The computer-readable medium of  claim 45  wherein said computer-controlled, electronically encoded operations further comprise selecting under computer control using an electronic computer processor at least one of said one electronically encoded automated analytics based on an electronically encoded workflow.

The computer-readable medium of  claim 45  wherein said computer-controlled, electronically encoded operations further comprise maintaining under computer control using an electronic computer processor electronically encoded compartmentalization requirements of said project with respect to said generated analytical information. 
     
     
         48 . The computer-readable medium of  claim 47 , wherein said information compartmentalization is based, at least in part, on an attribute of said analyst. 
     
     
         49 . The computer-readable medium of  claim 48 , wherein said attribute of said analyst is specified by said workflow. 
     
     
         50 . The computer-readable medium of  claim 45  wherein said compartmentalization requirements specify that information be blocked, used opaquely, or used visibly. 
     
     
         51 . The computer-readable medium of  claim 50 , wherein said compartmentalization requirements specify that information is based at least in part on the selected automated analytic.
