Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedThe inventor claims:
1 . A kit useful for playing “The 2101 Game”, including:
a. Two standard 52-card decks, with the one Two of Diamonds, one Ten of Clubs, and one Ace of Spades removed; and

2 . A kit as in claim 1 , with an optional Center Pile Pad.
3 . A kit as in claim 1 , with optional game pieces which indicate the Face Down bet, and the Face Up bet.
4 . A kit as in claim 1 , in which the Player Pads are constructed within a gaming table top.
5 . A method of playing poker named “The 2101 Game”, comprising:
a. setting a Table Bet amount;
b. sequentially dealing nine cards to two to ten players;
c. the players placing the first three cards in their hands as Pocket cards;
d. the players placing the second three cards face up in front of them as their Face Up cards;
e. the players placing their third set of three cards previously dealt face down as their Face Down cards;
f. betting between two and 21 times the Table Bet, starting with the player whose hand is ranked highest;
g. taking turns placing Pocket cards on a central pile, such that each card has a higher rank than the previously played card;
h. picking up the pile when a player cannot play a higher ranking card and adding those cards to the player's Pocket cards;
i. initiating a second round of betting known as the Face Up Bet, which a player begins when he has played all his Pocket cards;
j. continuing with the sequential playing of ever-higher ranking cards, players playing their Face Up cards when they have no Pocket Cards;
k. initiating a third round of betting known as the Face Down Bet, which a player begins when he has played all his Face Up cards and all his Pocket cards;
l. continuing with the sequential playing of ever-higher ranking cards, until a player playing Face Down cards fails to select a Face Down card equal to or higher than the previously played card on top of the pile, at which time, the player must pick up the pile, add those cards to his Pocket cards, and continues to play all of his Pocket cards before continuing with the Face Down cards.
m. continuing play until one player has played all his Pocket, Face Up, and Face Down cards;
n. rewarding the player who has played all his cards with all the bets made during the round of play.
6 . The method of playing poker as described in claim 5 , comprising the additional rule that, during the sequential play described in steps “g” through “m”:
a. playing a two of any suit on the pile is always allowed and further allows the next player to play any card of any rank on the pile;
b. playing a ten on the pile causes all cards in the pile at that moment to be discarded from play, and provides an additional play for the player who has played the ten;
c. playing a card that is the fourth consecutive card of the same rank also causes all cards in the pile at that moment to be discarded from play, and provides an additional play for the player who has played the fourth consecutive card.
7 . The method of playing poker as described in claim 5 , comprising the additional rule that, after the players have received their nine cards as described in step “e”, if a player's face-up cards are a two of diamonds, ten of clubs and ace of spades, that player immediately wins and all other players pay him twenty-one times the previously set Table Bet.
8 . The method of playing poker as described in claim 5 , comprising the additional rule that, after the players have received their nine cards as described in step “e”, if a player's face-up cards are a two, ten, and ace, but not a two of diamonds, ten of clubs and ace of spades, that player immediately wins and all other players pay him seven times the previously set Table Bet.
9 . The method of playing poker as described in claim 5 , comprising the following method for determining which player has the highest hand in step “f”:
a. counting the number of twos, tens and aces in each player's Face Up cards, and one player has more than the others, his hand is considered highest, but if two players or more have the same number of twos, tens and aces, then;
b. determining which player has the highest ranking set of cards, with tens ranking highest, then aces, and then twos, such that any hand with one ten outranks any hand without a ten, and any hand with an ace outranks any hand without an ten or ace, and any hand with a two outranks any hand without an ace, ten or two, but if two players or more have the same rank based on the previous two steps, then;
c. counting as the highest ranking hand the hand that has the highest ranking card that is not an ace, two or ten, using traditional ranking of playing cards, i.e., from highest to lowest—king, queen, jack, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, and three.
10 . The method of playing poker as described in claim 5 , with the additional limitation that all players bets must be in the range of two to twenty-one times the Table Bet.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
