Snowboard Control Lever
Abstract
An attachment and/or configuration to a snowboard or snowboard boot binding which offers an elongated extended levering like apparatus that when disposed to provides means for a steering device through mechanical leverage from the free unbound booted foot of the snowboarder. The snowboard attachment assists the snowboarder in acquiring edge control when positioning the boot toe of the unbound booted foot under the elongated extended levering like device urging snowboard on back edge or front edge. This attachment offers a means of steering a snowboard when exiting the chair lift when one foot is free and unbound from its snowboard boot binding. The attachment also offers a resting position for the snowboard on the toe of the free unbound foot while riding on the chair lift. When the toe of the free unbound boot is positioned under the lever like apparatus during the chair lift ride the rider/snowboarder is in position to exit the chair lift safer by urging lever like apparatus backwards for a back edge on the snowboard or forward on the boot toe and front edge on the snowboard thus steering away from obstacles due to enhanced snowboard control.
