Runway bag

Abstract

The invention disclosed herein is a garment bag comprised of several primary panels, as well as multiple accessory pocket panels to hold small, medium and large accessories. The garment bag also includes a tracking device, such as a bar code, GPS device, or QR code.

1 . A garment bag comprised of:
 primary panels including a front panel, a back panel, and a bottom panel joined to at least one side panel;   wherein at least one side panel functions as an access panel;   a zipper that runs along the length of the access panel;   a hanger access panel with a hole therein sized to allow the hook of a standard hanger; and, further comprising a small accessory pocket panel;   a medium accessory pocket panel;   a large accessory pocket;   wherein the accessory pocket panels are located on at least one primary panel;   and, a tracking device located on the garment bag.   
     
     
         2 . The garment bag of  claim 1  which is constructed of a clear, flexible material. 
     
     
         3 . The garment bag of  claim 1  wherein the small accessory pocket panel is a single panel attached to the front panel along its edges with multiple pockets delineated by stitching which joins the front panel and the small accessory pocket panel, and further including a zipper on at least one edge of the small accessory pocket panel. 
     
     
         4 . The garment bag of  claim 3  wherein the small accessory pocket panel has five pockets. 
     
     
         5 . The garment bag of  claim 3  wherein the medium accessory pocket panel is a single panel attached to the front panel along its edges with multiple pockets delineated by stitching which joins the front panel and the small accessory pocket panel, and further including a zipper on at least one edge of the medium accessory pocket panel. 
     
     
         6 . The garment bag of  claim 5  wherein the pockets of the medium accessory pocket panel are pleated. 
     
     
         7 . The garment bag of  claim 5  wherein the medium accessory pocket panel has three pockets. 
     
     
         8 . The garment bag of  claim 5  wherein the large accessory pocket is attached to the back panel, has a box pleat, and further includes a zipper on at least one edge of the large accessory pocket. 
     
     
         9 . The garment bag of  claim 8  wherein there is a pocket on the exterior of the access panel. 
     
     
         10 . The garment bag of  claim 8  wherein the hole of the hanger access panel is reinforced along its edges. 
     
     
         11 . The garment bag of  claim 8  wherein the tracking device is a barcode. 
     
     
         12 . The garment bag of  claim 8  wherein the tracking device is a global positioning system tracking device. 
     
     
         13 . A garment bag comprised of:
 primary panels including a front panel, a back panel, and a bottom panel joined to at least one side panel;   wherein at least one side panel functions as an access panel; and   the back panel and side panels are all components of one continuous piece of material;   a zipper runs along the length of the access panel;   a hanger access panel with a hole therein sized to allow the hook of a standard hanger;   further comprising a small accessory pocket panel;   a medium accessory pocket panel;   a large accessory pocket;   wherein the accessory pocket panels are located on at least one primary panel.   
     
     
         14 . The garment bag of  claim 13  which is constructed of a clear, flexible material. 
     
     
         15 . The garment bag of  claim 13  wherein the small accessory pocket panel is a single panel attached to the front panel along its edges with multiple pockets delineated by stitching which joins the front panel and the small accessory pocket panel, and further including a zipper on at least one edge of the small accessory pocket panel. 
     
     
         16 . The garment bag of  claim 15  wherein the small accessory pocket panel has five pockets. 
     
     
         17 . The garment bag of  claim 13  wherein the medium accessory pocket panel is a single panel attached to the front panel along its edges with multiple pockets delineated by stitching which joins the front panel and the small accessory pocket panel, and further including a zipper on at least one edge of the medium accessory pocket panel. 
     
     
         18 . The garment bag of  claim 17  wherein the medium accessory pocket panel has three pockets. 
     
     
         19 . The garment bag of  claim 17  wherein the large accessory pocket is attached to the back panel, has a box pleat, and has a zipper that runs along its top edge. 
     
     
         20 . The garment bag of  claim 19  wherein there is a pocket on the exterior of the access panel. 
     
     
         21 . The garment bag of  claim 19  wherein the garment bag includes a barcode. 
     
     
         22 . The garment bag of  claim 19  wherein the garment bag includes a global positioning system tracking device.
