Abstract

Aspects of the present invention relate to methods and systems for positioning content within an FOV of a HWC based on sensor feedback.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method, comprising:
presenting digital content in a field of view of a see-through head worn optical system at a position that is dependent on feedback from a sensor, wherein the sensor provides information relating to a speed of forward motion of a person wearing the see-through head worn optical system.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the sensor is at least one of a GPS sensor, IMU, and accelerometer.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the position is shifted from a neutral position to a position towards a side edge of the field of view as the forward motion increases.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the position is shifted from a neutral position to a position towards a top or bottom edge of the field of view as the forward motion increases.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the position shifts based on a threshold speed of the forward motion.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the position shifts linearly based on the speed of the forward motion.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the position shifts non-linearly based on the speed of the forward motion.

8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the position shifts outside of the field of view.

9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the content is no longer displayed and will he displayed again once the forward motion slows.

         10 . (canceled)

         11 . A method, comprising:
Positioning content within a field of view of a see-through head worn optical system in line with either a sight heading or movement heading depending on the speed of forward motion of the head worn optical system, wherein the presentation will be in line with the sight heading when the speed is below a predetermined speed value and in line with the movement heading when the speed is above the predetermined speed value.

         12 . (canceled)

         13 . A method, comprising:
 a. Presenting a first content in a field of view of a see-through head worn optical system, wherein the first content is positioned dependent on a sight heading of the head worn optical system; and b. Presenting a second content in the field of view of the see-through had worn optical system at the same time the first content is presented, wherein the second content is positioned dependent on a movement heading of the head worn optical system.
