Abstract
A safety system for connection to a toxic gas detector and a power feed, comprising a first connection to the detector, a second connection to the power feed, and an interrupt device coupled to said first and second connections, the interrupt device including a circuit for detecting a toxic gas signal from said first connection, and a circuit for permitting, through said second connection, power to flow through the power feed wherein the detecting circuit activates said permitting circuit if the toxic gas signal represents a toxic gas concentration below a predetermined level.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 66 . (canceled)
67 . A safety system for connection to a toxic gas detector and a power feed, comprising:
(a) a first connection to the detector; (b) a second connection to the power feed; and (c) an interrupt device coupled to said first and second connections, said interrupt device including (d) a circuit for detecting a toxic gas signal from said first connection, and (e) a circuit for permitting, through said second connection, power to flow through the power feed; (f) wherein said detecting circuit activates said permitting circuit if said toxic gas signal represents a toxic gas concentration below a predetermined level.
68 . The safety system of claim 67 wherein said permitting circuit and said detecting circuit are combined into an interrupt circuit.
69 . The safety system of claim 68 wherein said interrupt circuit includes a relay.
70 . The safety system of claim 67 wherein said interrupt circuit includes a normally open switch.
71 . The safety system of claim 67 wherein said first connection, said second connection, and said interrupt device are incorporated into a unitary device.
72 . The safety device of claim 70 wherein said unitary device is a wall-mountable housing.
73 . The safety system of claim 67 wherein the detector, said first connection, said second connection, and said interrupt device are incorporated into a unitary device.
74 . The safety device of claim 67 wherein said unitary device is a wall-mountable housing.
75 . The safety system of claim 67 wherein the detector, the power feed, said first connection, said second connection, and said interrupt device are incorporated into a unitary device.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
