Abstract
A blank firing laser adapter for use with blank firing guns wherein a user can improve the accuracy of their firing capabilities by placing a known gun sighting laser into a laser adapter of the instant invention and then attaching said laser adapter to the barrel of a blank firing gun to thereby adapt said blank firing gun to point, fire, and record the trajectory of the resulting laser beam.

1 . A blank firing laser adapter for use with a blank firing gun, said blank firing laser adapter comprising a laser housing having a hollowed-out bore formed through the length thereof and adapted and shaped to house a laser and its associated components therein, said laser housing bore includes a laser end section having threads and which is adapted to releasably hold a laser therein, a cap end section having threads and which is adapted to releasably hold a laser housing cap therein, and a center section adapted to house an end section of said laser, a battery, and a battery ground spring therein; a laser which includes threads adapted to releasably thread with said threads of said laser housing; a laser housing cap which includes a bore through a portion of a center section thereof, a releasable fastener on an end opposite said bore and adapted to releasably attach to the barrel of a blank firing gun, and houses a battery ground spring therein, and threads adapted to releasably thread with said threads of said laser housing; a battery adapted to slide within said center section of said laser housing bore and a portion of said laser housing cap bore; and a battery conducting spring adapted to be placed in between said battery and said laser, wherein said blank firing laser adapter is adapted such that when a blank is fired by said blank firing gun, the concussive force produced pushes said battery into said battery conductor spring, which compresses, which then allows said battery to come in contact with said laser, which then generates and emits a laser beam pulse.
2 . The portable neck exercise device of claim 1 , wherein said releasable fastener is formed as a screw fastener adapted to releasably screw into the barrel of a blank firing gun.
3 . The portable neck exercise device of claim 1 , wherein said releasable fastener is formed as a sleeve fastener adapted to slide over and releasably attached to the barrel of a blank firing gun.
4 . The portable neck exercise device of claim 3 , wherein said sleeve fastener includes a set screw adapted to adjustably screw into a hollow section thereof and onto an outer surface of said barrel of a blank firing gun.
5 . The portable neck exercise device of claim 1 , wherein said laser housing is formed in the shape of a cylinder.

A combination of a blank firing gun and a blank firing laser adapter, said blank firing gun including a barrel, and is adapted to fire blanks; said blank firing laser adapter comprising a laser housing having a hollowed-out bore formed through the length thereof and adapted and shaped to house a laser and its associated components therein, said laser housing bore includes a laser end section having threads and which is adapted to releasably hold a laser therein, a cap end section having threads and which is adapted to releasably hold a laser housing cap therein, and a center section adapted to house an end section of said laser, a battery, and a battery ground spring therein; a laser which includes threads adapted to releasably thread with said threads of said laser housing; a laser housing cap which includes a bore through a portion of a center section thereof, a releasable fastener on an end opposite said bore and adapted to releasably attach to the barrel of said blank firing gun, and houses a battery ground spring therein, and threads adapted to releasably thread with said threads of said laser housing; a battery adapted to slide within said center section of said laser housing bore and a portion of said laser housing cap bore; and a battery conducting spring adapted to be placed in between said battery and said laser, wherein said blank firing laser adapter is adapted such that when a blank is fired by said blank firing gun, the concussive force produced pushes said battery into said battery conductor spring, which compresses, which then allows said battery to come in contact with said laser, which then generates and emits a laser beam pulse.
7 . The portable neck exercise device of claim 6 , wherein said releasable fastener is formed as a screw fastener adapted to releasably screw into said barrel of said blank firing gun.
8 . The portable neck exercise device of claim 6 , wherein said releasable fastener is formed as a sleeve fastener adapted to slide over and releasably attached to said barrel of said blank firing gun.
9 . The portable neck exercise device of claim 8 , wherein said sleeve fastener includes a set screw adapted to adjustably screw into a hollow section thereof and onto an outer surface of said barrel of said blank firing gun.
