Abstract
A carbazole derivative represented by the general formula (1) is provided. In the formula, Ar 1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms which form a ring; α and β independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms which form a ring; R 1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms which form a ring; and R 11 to R 17 and R 21 to R 28 independently represent hydrogen, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms which form a ring.

2 . A carbazole derivative represented by a compound A,
wherein Ar 1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms which form a ring; α independently represents a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene group; R 1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms which form a ring; and R 11 to R 17 independently represent hydrogen, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms which form a ring.
3 . A carbazole derivative represented by a compound B,
wherein X 1 represents a halogen; β independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms which form a ring; R 21 to R 28 independently represent hydrogen, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms which form a ring.
4 . The carbazole derivative according to claim 3 ,
wherein X 1 represents Cl or Br.

an oxadiazole derivative represented by a General formula (1),
