Micronized placental tissue compositions and methods of making and using the same

Abstract

Described herein are compositions composed of micronized placental components, extracts of micronized placental components, and pharmaceutical compositions thereof. The compositions have numerous medical applications. Methods for making and using the micronized compositions and the extracts thereof are also described herein.

         70 . An aqueous composition suitable for injection which composition comprises dehydrated micronized placental amnion having a particle size of less than 100 μm. 
     
     
         71 . The composition of  claim 70 , wherein the dehydrated micronized placental amnion has a particle size between 50 μm and 100 μm. 
     
     
         72 . The composition of  claim 70 , wherein the dehydrated micronized placental amnion has a maximum particle size greater than 25 μm, but less than 75 μm. 
     
     
         73 . An aqueous composition suitable for injection and maintained within a barrel of a syringe, the aqueous composition comprising dehydrated micronized placental amnion having an average particle size of less than 100 μm, wherein the aqueous composition is maintained within the barrel of the syringe.
