Abstract

A hanging hook has a leg portion, a hook portion and a fastening member. The leg portion is L-shaped and has a horizontal section and a vertical section formed on and perpendicularly extending downwards from one end of the horizontal section. The hook portion has a stacking section stacked on a top of the horizontal section and a thickness-adjusting slot longitudinally formed through the stacking section and has a proximal end and a distal end with respect to the hook section. The fastening member movably fastens the leg portion and the hook portion through the thickness-adjusting slot. When the stacking section aligns with or s obliquely mounted on the horizontal section, the hanging hook can be mounted on parallel-sided or bevel-sided objects by movably mounting the fastening member through the hook portion and the leg portion in consideration of mounting occasions on different objects.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A hanging hook comprising:
a leg portion being L-shaped and having:
a horizontal section having two ends; and
 a vertical section formed on and perpendicularly extending downwards from one of the two ends of the horizontal section;
   a hook portion having:
a stacking section stacked on a top of the horizontal section of the leg portion, and having:
 two ends; and
a thickness-adjusting slot being elongated and longitudinally formed through the stacking section, and having:
 a proximal end; and
 a distal end; and

a hook section formed on and perpendicularly extending downwards from one of the two ends of the stacking section, and being adjacent to the proximal end of the thickness-adjusting slot and distal to the distal end of the thickness-adjusting slot, wherein a lower end of the hook section takes the form of a hook; and
a fastening member mounted through the thickness-adjusting slot to position the leg portion and the hook portion selectively with respect to each other.

2 . The hanging hook as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the stacking section of the hook portion is stacked on the horizontal section of the leg portion with the horizontal section of the leg portion at a position closer to the hook section of the hook portion than a position of the vertical section of the leg portion and the hook portion aligning with the horizontal section of the leg portion.

3 . The hanging hook as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the stacking section of the hook portion is stacked on the horizontal section of the leg portion with the vertical section of the leg portion at a position closer to the hook section of the hook portion than a position of the horizontal section of the leg portion and the hook portion aligning with the horizontal section of the leg portion.

4 . The hanging hook as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the stacking section of the hook portion is stacked on the horizontal section of the leg portion with the horizontal section of the leg portion at a position closer to the hook section of the hook portion than a position of the vertical section of the leg portion, and the hook portion is tilted with respect to the leg portion or the leg portion is tilted with respect to the hook portion for an angle to be included between the hook section of the hook portion and the vertical section of the leg portion.

5 . The hanging hook as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the stacking section of the hook portion is stacked on the horizontal section of the leg portion with the vertical section of the leg portion at a position closer to the hook section of the hook portion than a position of the horizontal section of the leg portion, and the hook portion is tilted with respect to the leg portion or the leg portion is tilted with respect to the hook portion for an angle to be included between the hook section of the hook portion and the vertical section of the leg portion.

6 . The hanging hook as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the fastening member has:
a stud being threaded, formed on and protruding upwards from the top of the horizontal section of the leg portion, and movably penetrating through the thickness-adjusting slot of the stacking section of the hook portion; a washer stacked on the thickness-adjusting slot and a top of the stacking section of the hook portion for the stud to penetrate through the washer; and a nut mounted on the washer to engage the stud.

7 . The hanging hook as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the fastening member has:
a stud being threaded, formed on and protruding upwards from the top of the horizontal section of the leg portion, and movably penetrating through the thickness-adjusting slot of the stacking section of the hook portion; a washer stacked on the thickness-adjusting slot and a top of the stacking section of the hook portion for the stud to penetrate through the washer; and a nut mounted on the washer to engage the stud.

8 . The hanging hook as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the fastening member has:
a stud being threaded, formed on and protruding upwards from the top of the horizontal section of the leg portion, and movably penetrating through the thickness-adjusting slot of the stacking section of the hook portion; a washer stacked on the thickness-adjusting slot and a top of the stacking section of the hook portion for the stud to penetrate through the washer; and a nut mounted on the washer to engage the stud.

9 . The hanging hook as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the fastening member has:
a stud being threaded, formed on and protruding upwards from the top of the horizontal section of the leg portion, and movably penetrating through the thickness-adjusting slot of the stacking section of the hook portion; a washer stacked on the thickness-adjusting slot and a top of the stacking section of the hook portion for the stud to penetrate through the washer; and a nut mounted on the washer to engage the stud.

10 . The hanging hook as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the fastening member has:
a stud being threaded, formed on and protruding upwards from the top of the horizontal section of the leg portion, and movably penetrating through the thickness-adjusting slot of the stacking section of the hook portion; a washer stacked on the thickness-adjusting slot and a top of the stacking section of the hook portion for the stud to penetrate through the washer; and a nut mounted on the washer to engage the stud.
