Combination Garment and Jewelry System

Abstract

A combination garment and jewelry system having removably securable jewelry elements. The garment includes a neckline, and may be a shirt, a blouse, a dress or other similar upper body garment. The neckline includes fasteners thereon for receiving a jewelry element. The jewelry element is a necklace or chain, among others and includes a first end and a second end. The first end and second end includes fasteners thereon for engagement with the fasteners on the neckline of the garment. Preferably, the fasteners include magnets or magnetic material so that the jewelry element can be removably secured to the garment, therefore allowing the jewelry element to be interchanged as desired by the user.

I claim: 
     
         1 ) A combination garment and jewelry system, comprising:
 a garment having a neckline;   a plurality of fasteners disposed on said neckline;   a jewelry element comprising a first end and a second end, wherein a first fastener is disposed on said first end and a second fastener is disposed on said second end;   wherein said first fastener and said second fastener can be removably secured to said plurality of fasteners on said neckline of said garment.   
     
     
         2 ) The combination garment and jewelry system of  claim 1 , wherein said garment comprises a shirt. 
     
     
         3 ) The combination garment and jewelry system of  claim 1 , wherein said garment comprises a dress. 
     
     
         4 ) The combination garment and jewelry system of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of fasteners comprises a first fastener disposed on a first side of said neckline, and a second fastener disposed on a second side of said neckline. 
     
     
         5 ) The combination garment and jewelry system of  claim 4 , wherein said plurality of fasteners are disposed on a front portion of said neckline, such that said fasteners are positioned on a front of a user when said garment is adorned by said user. 
     
     
         6 ) The combination garment and jewelry system of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of fasteners on said neckline, said first fastener, and said second fastener comprise magnets. 
     
     
         7 ) The combination garment and jewelry system of  claim 1 , wherein said jewelry element further comprises one or more pendants thereon. 
     
     
         8 ) The combination garment and jewelry system of  claim 1 , wherein said jewelry element comprises a necklace. 
     
     
         9 ) The combination garment and jewelry system of  claim 1 , wherein said jewelry element comprises a chain.
