Abstract

According to one embodiment, an apparatus includes a first pipe and a second pipe, where at least a portion of the first pipe is within the second pipe. The first pipe has a first gas in a first space and a second gas in a second space. The first gas is in an amount to generate a buoyancy force that exceeds at least a gravity force of the apparatus to position the apparatus in a stationary state at a first distance relative a ground, wherein the first pipe is movable relative to the second pipe. The apparatus further includes a first fixture coupled to the second pipe to secure the apparatus in the stationary state at the first distance relative to the ground without supporting the apparatus.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . An apparatus to provide transportation, comprising:
a first pipe; and a second pipe, wherein at least a portion of the first pipe is within the second pipe, wherein the first pipe has a first gas in a first space and a second gas in a second space, wherein the first gas is in an amount to generate a buoyancy force that exceeds at least a gravity force of the apparatus to position the apparatus in a stationary state at a first distance relative a ground, wherein the first pipe is movable relative to the second pipe; and a first fixture coupled to the second pipe to secure the apparatus in the stationary state at the first distance relative to the ground without supporting the apparatus.

2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a driver coupled to move the first pipe relative to the second pipe.

3 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first pipe is at a clearance distance from the second pipe.

4 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first space comprises one or more first modules, and the second space comprises one or more second modules.

5 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first pipe has a shape of an elongated ring.

6 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first pipe has a shape of a capsule.

7 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a second fixture coupled to the second pipe.

8 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the second pipe comprises one or more exit points for modules of the first pipe.

9 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising
a third pipe coupled to the first pipe; a piston coupled to the third pipe; and an atmospheric valve coupled to the first pipe.

10 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising an energy converter coupled to the first pipe.

11 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein a length of the first pipe and the second pipe is at least 1000 meters.

12 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein a first diameter of the first pipe is ranging from 1 to 5 meters.

13 . The apparatus of claim 12 , wherein the first diameter of the first pipe is 2 meters.

14 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein a second diameter of the second pipe is ranging from 2 to 15 meters.

15 . The apparatus of claim 14 , wherein the second diameter of the second pipe is 10 meters.

16 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first pipe and the second pipe are tilted in an angle ranging from 0.5 to 2 degrees with respect the ground.

17 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first pipe and the second pipe comprise a plurality of pipe segments, and wherein each of the pipe segments is about 100 meter long.

18 . The apparatus of claim 17 , wherein the first pipe is about 18 meter long and the second pipe is about 20 meter long.
