Abstract
A chair is formed of injection molding of raw plastic materials. The chair has four legs, a seat, a back, and two armrests. At least one of the armrests has an integrated or integral cup-holder, formed as a crater within the armrest. The integrated cup-holder is formed within a generally-trapezoid or generally-rectangular top panel of the armrest. The integrated cup-holder is located away from the leg of the chair, and is not part of the leg of the chair.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A chair comprising:
four plastic legs, connected to a plastic seat panel; a plastic back panel, connected to said plastic seat panel; two plastic armrests, comprising a right-side plastic armrest and a left-side plastic armrest; wherein at least one of said two plastic armrests comprises an integrated non-movable plastic cup-holder which is integral the armrest and which comprises a plastic crater for storing a cup therein; wherein the crater of the plastic cup-holder is located at a front-side region of the armrest at a location that is offset horizontally relative to said four plastic legs.
2 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the integrated plastic cup-holder is located away from, and externally to, any straight line that consists of any one of the four plastic legs.
3 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the integrated plastic cup-holder is located at a portion of the armrest that is not directly above any one of the plastic legs that are connected under the plastic seat.
4 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the integrated plastic cup-holder is independent of, and is a separate part from, any of the four plastic legs of the chair.
5 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the crater of the plastic cup-holder comprises a bottom surface that is generally perpendicular to the ground; wherein the bottom surface of said crater is closer to the ground, relative to any rim of any one of the plastic armrests.
6 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the crater of the plastic cup-holder is comprised entirely in a region of the armrest that is located away from a curving-down region of the armrest that curves downwardly towards the ground and connects to one of said plastic legs.
7 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the plastic cup-holder is generally circular, and wherein an entirety of a top-side circumference of said plastic cup-holder is entirely comprised within the armrest.
8 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the plastic cup-holder is generally circular, and wherein an entirety of a top-side circumference of said plastic cup-holder is entirely comprised within a generally-trapezoid horizontal region of said armrest.
9 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the plastic cup-holder is generally circular, and wherein an entirety of a top-side circumference of said plastic cup-holder is entirely comprised within a generally-rectangular horizontal region of said armrest.
10 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the plastic cup-holder is generally circular, and wherein any portion of a top-side circumference of said plastic cup-holder does not protrude sideways relative to a generally-trapezoid contour of said armrest.
11 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the plastic armrest that comprises said plastic cup-holder, has a generally-trapezoid structure that comprises therein said plastic cup-holder in its entirety.
12 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the plastic armrest that comprises said plastic cup-holder, has a generally-rectangular structure that comprises therein said plastic cup-holder in its entirety.
13 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the plastic cup-holder is generally circular, and wherein a top-side circumference of said plastic cup-holder is located on the same plane in which the armrest that comprises said plastic cup-holder is located.
14 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the plastic cup-holder is generally circular;
wherein a first portion of a top-side circumference of said plastic cup-holder is integral to an upper surface of the plastic armrest that comprises said plastic cup-holder is located; wherein a second portion of the top-side circumference of said plastic cup-holder extends forwardly relative to a curving-down region of said plastic armrest that curves downwardly towards one of the plastic legs.
15 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the plastic armrest that comprises the plastic cup-holder comprises: (A) an inner-side generally-vertical panel, connected generally-perpendicularly to (B) an upper-side generally-horizontal panel, connected generally-perpendicularly to (C) an outer-side generally-vertical panel;
wherein the plastic cup-holder is enclosed within an “n” shaped cross-section defined by said inner-side panel, said upper-side panel, and said outer-side panel of the plastic armrest.
16 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the plastic armrest that comprises the plastic cup-holder comprises: (A) an inner-side generally-vertical panel, connected generally-perpendicularly to (B) an upper-side generally-horizontal panel, connected generally-perpendicularly to (C) an outer-side generally-vertical panel;
wherein the plastic cup-holder is generally circular; wherein a top-side circumference of the plastic cup-holder is located at the same horizontal plane of said upper-side panel of the armrest; wherein the top-side circumference of the plastic cup-holder is spatially located in between said inner-side panel and said outer-side panel of the plastic armrest.
17 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the plastic cup-holder does not protrude beyond a generally-polygonal contour of the armrest that comprises the plastic cup-holder.
18 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein an entirety of a top-side circumference of the plastic cup-holder is contained within the straight-lines edges that define the contour of the plastic armrest;
wherein the plastic cup-holder is within a region of the plastic armrest that is not located vertically over any of the plastic legs.
19 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the plastic cup-holder is within a front-side region of the plastic armrest which curves downwardly towards one leg of said four plastic legs;
wherein said plastic armrest is defined as an elongated extension of (A) a first generally-vertical panel of said one leg, that is connected generally-perpendicularly to (B) a second generally-vertical panel of said one leg, wherein each one of the first and the second generally-vertical panels of said one leg is also connected generally-perpendicularly to (C) a generally-horizontal base panel of said one leg.
20 . The chair of claim 1 , wherein the chair is a mono-block injected-molded plastic chair.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
