Furniture leg sock with caster holder
Abstract
A furniture leg protective sock to prevent a furniture leg from scraping or marring a floor includes a stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material to form an outer layer, an inner layer, and a gap therebetween; and a caster cup. The caster cup may be located in the gap between the outer layer of the stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material and the inner layer of the stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material; attached to the outer layer of the stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material; or attached to the inner layer of the stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A furniture leg protective sock to prevent a furniture leg from scraping or marring a floor, comprising:
a stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material to form an outer layer, an inner layer, and a gap therebetween; and a caster cup; said caster cup being attached to said inner layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material.
2 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said caster cup being attached to said inner layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by fusing said caster cup to said inner layer.
3 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said caster cup being attached to said inner layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by gluing said caster cup to said inner layer.
4 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said caster cup being attached to said inner layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by a hook/loop mechanism.
5 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said caster cup being attached to said inner layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by snaps.
6 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising:
stabilizing material said stabilizing material floating in said gap between said inner layer and said outer layer.
7 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 6 , wherein said stabilizing material is a plurality of adjacent pieces of stabilizing material that float in said gap between said inner layer and said outer layer.
8 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 6 , wherein said stabilizing material includes a stabilizing material gap.
9 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 6 , further comprising:
elastic material; said elastic material being attached, across said stabilizing material gap, to said stabilizing material on either side of said stabilizing material gap.
10 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising:
non-penetrating material to prevent a furniture leg from piercing through said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material; said non-penetrating material floating in said gap between said inner layer and said outer layer.
11 . A furniture leg protective sock to prevent a furniture leg from scraping or marring a floor, comprising:
a stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material to form an outer layer, an inner layer, and a gap therebetween; and a caster cup; said caster cup being attached to said outer layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material.
12 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 11 , wherein said caster cup being attached to said outer layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by fusing said caster cup to said outer layer.
13 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 11 , wherein said caster cup being attached to said outer layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by gluing said caster cup to said outer layer.
14 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 11 , wherein said caster cup being attached to said outer layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by a hook/loop mechanism.
15 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 11 , wherein said caster cup being attached to said outer layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by snaps.
16 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 11 , further comprising:
stabilizing material said stabilizing material floating in said gap between said inner layer and said outer layer.
17 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 16 , wherein said stabilizing material is a plurality of adjacent pieces of stabilizing material that float in said gap between said inner layer and said outer layer.
18 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 16 , wherein said stabilizing material includes a stabilizing material gap.
19 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 16 , further comprising:
elastic material; said elastic material being attached, across said stabilizing material gap, to said stabilizing material on either side of said stabilizing material gap.
20 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising:
non-penetrating material to prevent a furniture leg from piercing through said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material; said non-penetrating material floating in said gap between said inner layer and said outer layer.
21 . A furniture leg protective sock to prevent a furniture leg from scraping or marring a floor, comprising:
a stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material to form an outer layer, an inner layer, and a gap therebetween; and a caster cup; said caster cup being located in said gap between said outer layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material and said inner layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
