Information Processing Apparatus, Information Processing System, and Storage Medium Having Stored Thereon Information Processing Program
Abstract
When an information processing apparatus is started, reception of data indicative of presence of a connection point apparatus is attempted. A plurality of objects respectively corresponding to a plurality of application programs is displayed on a display device, and upon reception of an operation performed by a user, an application program corresponding to one of the objects selected by the operation performed by the user is launched. When the data is received, a display form of an object, which relates to a connection application program including a program for executing a procedural step of connecting to the connection point apparatus, is changed.

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 21 , wherein a second object, displayed in the second display area and corresponding to a first object, among the first number of first objects, that satisfies a predetermined requirement is displayed in a specific color, irrespective of whether the first object is currently displayed in the first display area.
31 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 21 , wherein each second object, of a plurality of second objects displayed in the second display area, is displayed such that the type of the first object corresponding to the second object is distinguishable.
32 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 31 , wherein the plurality of second objects are displayed in colors corresponding to the types of the first objects corresponding thereto.
33 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 21 , wherein the plurality of first objects displayed in the first display area can be scrolled based on an input operation in the second display area.
34 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 21 , wherein the first subset of the plurality of first objects changes by scrolling to a second subset of the plurality of first objects based on a slide operation performed in the second display area.
35 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 21 , wherein the first subset of the plurality of first objects changes by scrolling to a second subset of the plurality of first objects based on a selection of a second object displayed in the second display area.
36 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 21 , wherein the first subset of the plurality of first objects changes in accordance with an input operation performed in the second display area.
37 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 21 , wherein the control program further causing the computer to:
change a display form of a first object in the first subset to a second display form, different from the first display form, when a first application corresponding to the first object is in a state capable of performing a process based on data received by the information processing system; and change a display form of a second object, different from the first object, in the first subset to the second display form, different from the first display form, when a second application corresponding to the second object is in a state capable of performing a process based on data received by the information processing system.
38 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 21 , wherein when input is made in the second display area, the first subset of the plurality of first objects is displayed in the first display area corresponding to a position of input made in the second display area.
39 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 21 , wherein the data received by the information processing system is received automatically.
40 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 21 , wherein the information processing system automatically connects to an access point.
41 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 21 , wherein the display form of the object is changed to the second display form before the application corresponding to the object has been opened for execution.
42 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 21 , wherein the second display form is a form to display the object with a sign.
43 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 21 , wherein the data which the process is performed based on is content data.
44 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 43 , wherein the process is a process for displaying the content data.
