Claims

Abstract

A mounting assembly for a pre-connected nozzle having a first end and a second end. The pre-connected nozzle has a universal connector with internal threading to connect to a hose, and external threading to connect to the nozzle and a rim. The assembly has a connector base to cradle the universal connector and its rim to support the first end of the nozzle. An adjustable locking assembly is attached to the connector base and has a strap to further support the universal connector. To support the second end of the nozzle, the mounting assembly has a flexible mounting assembly from two identical mounts facing away from each other and providing one arm per mount. A storage mount for the universal connector is also provided.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A flexible mount assembly adapted to support a discharge end of a nozzle, said flexible mount assembly comprising:
 a first mount comprising:
 a first rear surface and a first front surface; 
 a first arm extending upwardly from said first mount piece, said first arm comprising a first extended portion extending from said first arm; and, 
 a first base extending outwardly from said first front surface adapted to connect to a track; and, 
   a second mount comprising:
 a second rear surface and a second front surface; 
 a second arm extending upwardly from said second mount piece, said second arm comprising a second extended portion extending from said second arm; and, 
 a second base extending outwardly from said second front surface adapted to connect to said track, wherein said first rear surface is in contact with said second rear surface. 
   
     
     
         2 . The flexible mount assembly as recited in  claim 1 , wherein said first arm and said second arm form a cradle to support said discharge end of a nozzle. 
     
     
         3 . The flexible mount assembly as recited in  claim 1 , wherein said first arm and said second arm are flexible members. 
     
     
         4 . The flexible mount assembly as recited in  claim 1 , wherein said first mount and said second mount further comprise an aperture to secure said first mount to said second mount. 
     
     
         5 . A storage mount for a universal connector, comprising:
 a base comprising a curved end;   a plank;   a tab extending upwardly from said plank arranged to act as a radial barrier to said nozzle connector; and,   a curved wall extending upwardly from said curved end of said base which partially secures said universal connector concentrically within said curved wall, wherein said tab is displaced downwardly when said plank is pressed downward to retrieve or insert said universal connector.   
     
     
         6 . The storage mount as recited in  claim 5 , wherein said plank is a flexible member. 
     
     
         7 . The storage mount as recited in  claim 5 , wherein said curved wall engages a lip of said universal connector. 
     
     
         8 . An adjustable locking assembly, comprising:
 a strap lock comprising a clamping element;   a locking strap secured to said strap lock, said locking strap comprising a locking pin; and,   a pin locking element comprising a pivoting latch with a channel, said pivoting latch comprising a locked position, wherein said channel of said pivoting latch is adapted to receive said locking pin at a distance away from said strap lock, and said locking strap is freely movable when said pivoting latch is in a position other than said locked position.   
     
     
         9 . The adjustable locking assembly as recited in  claim 8  further comprising a pair of supports between said strap lock and said pin locking element. 
     
     
         10 . The adjustable locking assembly as recited in  claim 8 , wherein said locking strap further comprises ridges. 
     
     
         11 . The adjustable locking assembly as recited in  claim 10 , wherein said ridges on said locking strap engage with said strap lock. 
     
     
         12 . The adjustable locking assembly as recited in  claim 11 , wherein the length of said locking strap is adjustable. 
     
     
         13 . The adjustable locking assembly as recited in  claim 8 , wherein said locking strap engages with a universal connector. 
     
     
         14 . The adjustable locking assembly as recited in  claim 8 , wherein said strap lock and said pin locking element are adjustably secured to a track. 
     
     
         15 . A universal connector, comprising:
 a hollow cylindrical body having a first end with internal threading, and a second end;   an externally threaded cylinder protruding from said second end; and,   a rim circumscribing said hollow cylindrical body between said first end and said second end.   
     
     
         16 . The universal connector as recited in  claim 15 , wherein said externally threaded cylinder engages an inlet end of a nozzle. 
     
     
         17 . The universal connector as recited in  claim 15 , wherein said rim is cylindrically shaped. 
     
     
         18 . A mounting assembly for a nozzle, said nozzle comprising an inlet end, a discharge end and a universal connector adapted to connect to said inlet end of said nozzle, said universal connector comprising a hollow cylindrical body having a first end with internal threading, and a second end, an externally threaded cylinder protruding from said second end and a rim circumscribing said hollow cylindrical body between said first end and said second end, said mounting assembly comprising:
 a track;   a connector base comprising an arcuate channel to support said universal connector, said connector module further comprising first and second members and connects to said track along a bottom surface;   an adjustable locking assembly comprising:
 a strap lock connected to said first member of said connector base, said strap lock comprising a clamping element; 
 a locking strap comprising a locking pin, said locking strap secured to said strap lock by said clamping element; 
 a pin locking element connected to said second member of said connector base; and, 
 a latch pivotally attached to said pin locking element, said latch comprising a channel adapted to receive said locking pin, and a locked position, said locking strap is freely movable when said pivoting latch is in a position other than said locked position; and, 
   a flexible mount assembly adapted to support said discharge end of said nozzle, said flex mount module comprising:   a first mounting piece comprising:
 a first rear surface and a first front surface; 
 a first arm extending upwardly from said first mounting piece, said first arm comprising a first extended portion extending from said first arm; and, 
 a first base extending outwardly from said first front surface adapted to connect to a track; and, 
   a second mounting piece comprising:
 a second rear surface and a second front surface; 
 a second arm extending upwardly from said second mounting piece, said second arm comprising a second extended portion extending from said second arm; and, 
 a second base extending outwardly from said second front surface adapted to connect to said track, wherein said first rear surface contacts said second rear surface. 
   
     
     
         19 . The mounting assembly as recited in  claim 18 , wherein said locking strap secures said universal connector to said connector base. 
     
     
         20 . The mounting assembly as recited in  claim 18 , wherein said flexible mount assembly and said connector base can be arranged on said track independently of one another.
