Wall unit used in construction

Abstract

An improved wall unit used in construction. The wall unit is mainly used for the construction and formation of walls of buildings. The wall unit includes a main body and a metallic net. The front surface is pre-fabricated and provided. with designs, patterns and colors according to specifications. Therefore, after the wall unit is installed on a wall, no extra work or modification needs to be done on the front surface. The metallic net is disposed on the back of the main body and several steel strips are provided on the metallic net for the purpose of reinforcement after the metallic net is partially embedded into the main body. Because a portion of the metallic net and the steel strips stick out of the main body, such arrangement may facilitate the spot welding of the steel strips.

1 . An improved wall unit used in construction, comprising:
 a main body, having a front surface which is in finished condition so that no extra work or modification needs to be done on the front surface after the wall unit is installed, saving time and cost said main body being pre-fabricated according to specifications; and   a metallic net, disposed on the back of the main body for the purpose of reinforcement and partially embedded in the main body,   steel strips, which are disposed on the metallic net;   wherein a portion of the metallic net not embedded in the main body and the steel strips stick out of the main body and are attached to a wall by hanging or spot welding.   
     
     
         2 . The improved wall unit used in construction as in  claim 1 , wherein a variety of designs may be provided on the front surface of each wall unit. 
     
     
         3 . The improved wall unit used in construction as in  claim 1 , wherein a variety of patterns and colors may be provided on the front surface of each wall unit. 
     
     
         4 . The improved wall unit used in construction as in  claim 1 , wherein a bonding slot is provided on a surface of each of the four sides of each wall unit to enable a stronger bonding between the main bodies of wall units. 
     
     
         5 . The improved wall unit used in construction as in  claim 1 , wherein a reinforced surface may be provided as the front surface to enable the wall unit to better withstand wear and tear, scratches and bumps.

         7 . The improved wall unit used in construction as in  claim 4 , wherein the bonding slot extends from corner to corner on the surface of each of the four sides. 
     
     
         8 . The improved wall unit used in construction as in  claim 1 , further comprising concrete disposed in a space between the back of the main body, the metallic net and the steel strips. 
     
     
         9 . A method of making a wall unit used in construction, comprising:
 prefabricating a main body according to specifications, the main body having a front surface which is in finished condition so that no extra work or modification needs to be done on the front surface after the wall unit is installed, saving time and cost;   partially embedding a metallic net on a back of the main body for the purpose of reinforcement;   disposing several steel strips on the metallic net;   wherein a portion of the metallic net not embedded in the main body and the steel strips stick out of the main body;   attaching the portion of the metallic net not embedded in the main body and the steel strips to a wall by hanging or spot welding.   
     
     
         10 . The method of making a wall unit used in construction as in  claim 9 , further comprising:
 pouring concrete in a space between the back of the main body, the metallic net and the steel strips.
