Abstract
The instant invention relates to a method for changing characteristics of a plastic component, wherein a medium is introduced into the plastic component, which encompasses a porosity and wherein the medium forms a homogenous compound with the plastic component by at least partially dissolving the plastic component.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A material system comprising: a plastic component, wherein the plastic component has a porosity, and
a medium for introduction into the plastic component, wherein the medium includes at least one substance capable of at least partially dissolving the plastic component and forming a homogeneous compound therewith; wherein the plastic component is produced by means of three-dimensional print processes.
. The material system according to claim 1 , wherein the medium includes a polymerizable material so that the medium is capable of a solidification after introduction in the porosity of the plastic component by means of polymerization.
. (canceled)
. The material system according to claim 1 , wherein the medium includes two polymerization systems including a first polymerization system for accelerated solidification of an outermost layer of the medium over the plastic component, wherein two polymerization systems have different reaction times.
. The material system according to claim 1 , wherein the medium includes a polymerizable material capable of accelerated solidification by means of the introduction of high-energy radiation.
. The material system according to claim 5 , wherein the high-energy radiation is UV.
. (canceled)
. The material system according to claim 1 , wherein the material system comprises an accelerator for hardening an outermost layer of the medium on the plastic material.
. (canceled)
. (canceled)
. (canceled)
. The material system according to claim 1 , wherein the medium includes a monomer.
. The material system according to claim 12 , wherein the medium encompasses at least one part, which is from the same substance class as a plastic part of the plastic component.
. The material system according to, claim 1 wherein the material system comprises a catalyst and/or a wetting agent.
. The material system according to claim 12 , wherein the material system includes a photo initiator.
. The material system according to claim 15 , wherein the photo initiator is provided in the medium.
. The material system according to claim 1 , wherein the plastic component and the medium encompass a methacrylate.
. (canceled)
. (canceled)
. The material system of claim 1 , wherein the medium includes a methacrylate.
. The material system of claim 2 , wherein the medium includes a methacrylate.
. The material system of claim 8 , wherein the medium includes a methacrylate.
. The material system of claim 12 , wherein the medium includes a methacrylate.
. The material system of claim 16 , wherein the medium includes a methacrylate.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
