Abstract
A commode assembly for removably collecting waste from a user includes a frame that may be positioned on a support surface. A bucket may be supported by the frame. A liner is positionable in the bucket. A pad positionable in the liner. A seat is positioned on the frame. The seat may support the user above the bucket. The liner collects the user's waste so the pad absorbs the waste.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . A commode assembly for removably collecting waste from a user, said assembly comprising:
a frame configured to be positioned on a support surface; a bucket configured to be supported by said frame; a liner positionable in said bucket; a pad positionable in said liner; and a seat positioned on said frame wherein said seat is configured to support the user above said bucket wherein said liner collects the user's waste wherein said pad absorbs the waste.
2 . The assembly according to claim 1 further comprising said frame comprising a U-shaped arm positionable on the support surface wherein a free end of each of a pair of vertical arms of said U-shaped arm abuts the support surface wherein said U-shaped arm extends upwardly from the support surface.
3 . The assembly according to claim 2 further comprising said U-shaped arm being one of a pair of said U-shaped arms.
4 . The assembly according to claim 1 further comprising a front longitudinal arm coupled between each of a pair of front ones of a pair of vertical arms of a pair of U-shaped arms wherein said front longitudinal arm is oriented parallel to the support surface.
5 . The assembly according to claim 1 further comprising a back longitudinal arm coupled between each of a pair of back ones of a pair of vertical arms of a pair of U-shaped arms wherein said back longitudinal arm is oriented parallel to the support surface.
6 . The assembly according to claim 1 further comprising a yoke coupled between each of a front and a back longitudinal arm wherein said yoke is oriented parallel to the support surface.
7 . The assembly according to claim 6 further comprising said yoke being one of a pair of spaced yokes wherein a curved section of each of said pair of spaced yokes is directed away from each other wherein said curved section of each of said pair of spaced yokes forms a bucket space.
8 . The assembly according to claim 1 further comprising said bucket being removably positionable within a bucket space wherein a rim of said bucket abuts a top side of a curved section of each of a pair of spaced yokes wherein said bucket is supported above the support surface.
9 . The assembly according to claim 1 further comprising said liner being removably positionable within said bucket wherein a bottom side of a rim on said liner abuts a top side of a rim on said bucket wherein an outer surface of an outer wall of said liner abuts an inner surface of an outer wall of said bucket.
10 . The assembly according to claim 1 further comprising said pad being removably positionable in said liner wherein a bottom side of said pad abuts a top surface of a bottom wall of said liner wherein an outer edge of said pad coextensively abuts an inner surface of an outer wall of said liner.
11 . The assembly according to claim 1 further comprising a U-shaped back rest coupled to each of a pair of U-shaped arms.
12 . The assembly according to claim 11 further comprising wherein each of a pair of vertical arms of said U-shaped back rest is coupled to a back side of an associated one of a pair of vertical arms of said pair of U-shaped arms proximate a lateral arm of each of said pair of U-shaped arms wherein said U-shaped back rest extends upwardly from said pair of U-shaped arms.
13 . The assembly according to claim 1 further comprising said seat being positionable on a top of each of a front and back longitudinal arms.
14 . The assembly according to claim 1 further comprising a semi-cylindrical rear edge of said seat engaging a back longitudinal arm wherein said seat is retained on said back longitudinal arm.
15 . The assembly according to claim 1 further comprising a centrally positioned waste aperture extending through a top side and a bottom side of said seat wherein said centrally positioned waste aperture is aligned with said liner when said seat is positioned on a front and back longitudinal arms.
16 . The assembly according to claim 1 further comprising a lid hingedly coupled to a semi-cylindrical rear edge of said seat wherein said lid selectively covers a centrally positioned waste aperture.
17 . A commode assembly for removably collecting waste from a user, said assembly comprising:
a frame configured to be positioned on a support surface, said frame comprising; a U-shaped arm positionable on a support surface wherein a free end of each of a pair of vertical arms of said U-shaped arm abuts the support surface wherein said U-shaped arm extends upwardly from the support surface, said U-shaped arm being one of a pair of said U-shaped arms; a front longitudinal arm coupled between each of a pair of front ones of said pair of vertical arms of said pair of U-shaped arms wherein said front longitudinal arm is oriented parallel to the support surface; a back longitudinal arm coupled between each of a pair of back ones of said pair of vertical arms of said pair of U-shaped arms wherein said back longitudinal arm is oriented parallel to the support surface; a yoke coupled between each of said front and back longitudinal arms wherein said yoke is oriented parallel to the support surface, said yoke being one of a pair of spaced yokes wherein a curved section of each of said pair of spaced yokes is directed away from each other wherein said curved section of each of said pair of spaced yokes forms a bucket space; a bucket being removably positionable within said bucket space wherein a rim of said bucket abuts a top side of said curved section of each of said pair of spaced yokes wherein said bucket is supported above the support surface; a liner being removably positionable within said bucket wherein a bottom side of a rim on said liner abuts a top side of said rim on said bucket wherein an outer surface of an outer wall of said liner abuts an inner surface of an outer wall of said bucket; a pad being removably positionable in said liner wherein a bottom side of said pad abuts a top surface of a bottom wall of said liner wherein an outer edge of said pad coextensively abuts an inner surface of said outer wall of said liner; a U-shaped back rest coupled to each of said pair of U-shaped arms, each of a pair of vertical arms of said U-shaped back rest being coupled to a back side of an associated one of said pair of vertical arms of said pair of U-shaped arms proximate a lateral arm of each of said pair of U-shaped arms wherein said U-shaped back rest extends upwardly from said pair of U-shaped arms; a seat being positionable on a top of each of said front and back longitudinal arms, a semi-cylindrical rear edge of said seat engaging said back longitudinal arm wherein said seat is retained on said back longitudinal arm wherein said seat is configured to support the user above said bucket; a centrally positioned waste aperture extending through a top side and a bottom side of said seat wherein said centrally positioned waste aperture is aligned with said liner when said seat is positioned on said front and back longitudinal arms wherein said liner collects the user's waste wherein said pad absorbs the waste; and a lid hingedly coupled to said semi-cylindrical rear edge of said seat wherein said lid selectively covers said centrally positioned waste aperture.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
