Abstract
A light-emitting device production method includes a positioning step of positioning, in a light-emitting element, a sealing member at least containing a silicone resin semi-cured at a room temperature (T 0 ) by primary cross-linking and a fluorescent material, the silicone resin decreasing in viscosity reversibly in a temperature region between the room temperature (T 0 ) and a temperature lower than a secondary cross-linking temperature (T 1 ), and being totally cured non-reversibly in a temperature region equal to or higher than the secondary cross-linking temperature (T 1 ).

26 . A sealing member comprising:
at least a thermoplastic resin and a fluorescent material, the thermoplastic resin being thermoplastic at a temperature lower than a predetermined cross-linking temperature, and being cured non-reversibly at a temperature equal to or higher than the predetermined cross-linking temperature.

The sealing member as set forth in claim 26 , wherein the thermoplastic resin is subjected to primary cross-linking at the temperature lower than the predetermined cross-linking temperature, and the thermoplastic resin is subjected to secondary cross-linking at the temperature equal to or higher than the predetermined cross-linking temperature.
28 . The sealing member as set forth in claim 26 , wherein the predetermined cross-linking temperature is not lower than 120° C. and not higher than 170° C.
29 . The sealing member as set forth in claim 26 , wherein the sealing member is a sealing sheet obtained by molding, into a sheet, the thermoplastic resin in which the fluorescent material is dispersed.
30 . The sealing member as set forth in claim 29 , wherein the sealing sheet is provided with a through hole.
31 . The sealing member as set forth in claim 29 , wherein the sealing sheet has a surface provided with a plurality of recesses.
32 . The sealing member as set forth in claim 29 , wherein the sealing sheet has a surface provided with a plurality of protrusions.
33 . The sealing member as set forth in claim 26 , wherein the sealing member is sealing powder containing at least powder of the thermoplastic resin in which the fluorescent material is dispersed.
34 . The sealing member as set forth in claim 26 , wherein the sealing member is sealing powder in which at least (i) powder of the thermoplastic resin and (ii) powder of the fluorescent material are mixed.
35 . The sealing member as set forth in claim 34 , wherein in the sealing powder, (i) the powder of the thermoplastic resin and (ii) the powder of the fluorescent material the sealing powder differ in particle size.
36 . The sealing member as set forth in claim 33 , wherein the sealing powder is compressed into a predetermined shape.
37 . The sealing member as set forth in claim 36 , wherein the predetermined shape is a tablet.
38 . The sealing member as set forth in claim 36 , wherein the predetermined shape is a sheet.
39 . The sealing member as set forth in claim 33 , wherein powder of the thermoplastic resin subjected to secondary cross-linking is further mixed in the sealing powder.
