Lubricant composition

Abstract

A lubricating oil composition, which contains a base oil, a boron-containing bisalkyl succinimide, a boron-containing bisalkenyl succinimide, or both, an amide, and a dispersed polymethacrylate. The lubricating oil composition is used for transmissions, such as Dual Clutch Transmissions.

1 . A lubricating oil composition comprising:
 a base oil;   (A) a boron-containing bisalkyl succinimide, a boron-containing bisalkenyl succinimide, or both;   (B) an amide; and   (C) a dispersed polymethacrylate.   
     
     
         2 . The lubricating oil composition according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 at least one additive selected from the group consisting of an antiwear agent and an extreme pressure agent, wherein   the additive comprises at least one element selected from the group consisting of sulfur and phosphorus.   
     
     
         3 . The lubricating oil composition according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a metal detergent comprising at least one element selected from the group consisting of calcium, magnesium and zinc.   
     
     
         4 . The lubricating oil composition according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a friction modifier having an extreme pressure property.   
     
     
         5 . The lubricating oil composition according to  claim 1 , wherein the lubricating oil composition is present in a transmission. 
     
     
         6 . The lubricating oil composition according to  claim 5 , wherein the lubricating oil composition is present in an automatic transmission. 
     
     
         7 . The lubricating oil composition according to  claim 6 , wherein the lubricating oil composition is present in a DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission).
