Image group title assigning device, image grouping device, representative image determination device for image group, image display device, camera, and image display program

Abstract

An image group title assigning device includes: a title candidate assigning means for assigning a plurality of title candidates to an image group having a plurality of images; a characteristic amount calculating means for individually calculating characteristic amounts of a plurality of images included in the image group in association with each of the plurality of title candidates; and a title determining means for determining a title representing the image group from among the title candidates based upon a characteristic amount of each of the images calculated for each of the title candidates.

1 . An image processing device, comprising:
 a calculating unit that calculates a first characteristic amount and a second characteristic amount of each of a first image and a second image; and   a decision unit that selects one of a first text representing a first shooting scene and a second text representing a second shooting scene as a text representing an image group containing the first image and the second image, based on at least one of the first characteristic amount of the first image, the second characteristic amount of the first image, the first characteristic amount of the second image and the second characteristic amount of the second image.   
     
     
         2 . An image processing device, comprising:
 an input unit into which an image group containing a first image and a second image is input;   a storage unit that stores a first text representing a first shooting scene and a second text representing a second shooting scene;   a calculating unit that calculates a first characteristic amount and a second characteristic amount of each of the first image and the second image; and   a decision unit that selects one of the first text and the second text as a text representing the image group based on at least one of the first characteristic amount of the first image, the second characteristic amount of the first image, the first characteristic amount of the second image and the second characteristic amount of the second image.   
     
     
         3 . An image processing device, comprising:
 an input unit into which an image group containing a first image and a second image is input;   a storage unit that stores a first text representing a first shooting scene and a second text representing a second shooting scene;   a first calculating unit that calculates a first characteristic amount and a second characteristic amount of each of the first image and the second image;   a second calculating unit that calculates a matching rate between the first image and the first text, a matching rate between the first image and the second text, a matching rate between the second image and the first text, and a matching rate between the second image and the second text based on at least one of the first characteristic amount of the first image, the second characteristic amount of the first image, the first characteristic amount of the second image and the second characteristic amount of the second image; and   a decision unit that selects one of the first text and the second text as a text representing the image group based on the matching rate between the first image and the first text, the matching rate between the first image and the second text, the matching rate between the second image and the first text, and the matching rate between the second image and the second text.   
     
     
         4 . The image processing device according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 the image group contains a plurality of images selected according to at least one of shooting date and time and shooting position.   
     
     
         5 . The image processing device according to  claim 2 , wherein:
 the image group contains a plurality of images selected according to at least one of shooting date and time and shooting position.   
     
     
         6 . The image processing device according to  claim 3 , wherein:
 the image group contains a plurality of images selected according to at least one of shooting date and time and shooting position.   
     
     
         7 . The image processing device according to  claim 3 , wherein:
 the first text and/or the second text stored in the storage unit indicates at least one of sea bathing, surfing, diving, camping, hiking, wedding, banquet, field day, golfing and excursion.   
     
     
         8 . The image processing device according to  claim 3 , further comprising:
 an operation member that is operated by a user to control the first text and the second text.   
     
     
         9 . The image processing device according to  claim 3 , wherein:
 the first characteristic amount and/or the second characteristic amount represents at least one of color information, sharpness information, texture information, pattern information and brightness information.
