Halogen-containing flame-retardant fibers, method for producing same, and flame-retardant fiber product using same
Abstract
A halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber of the present invention includes: 100 parts by mass of a halogen-containing polymer containing 17 to 70 parts by mass of a halogen; and 1.3 to 20 parts by mass of a molybdenum compound that is at least one kind selected from the group consisting of molybdenum oxide, ammonium molybdate, molybdenum oxide supported on an inorganic filler and ammonium molybdate supported on an inorganic filler. The average particle diameter of the molybdenum compound as expressed in median diameter is 10 nm or more and less than 600 nm. The flame-retardant fiber product of the present invention includes the halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber. The production method of the present invention includes spinning a composition that contains 100 parts by mass of a halogen-containing polymer containing 17 to 70 parts by mass of a halogen, and 1.3 to 20 parts by mass of the molybdenum compound. In the composition for the spinning, an average particle diameter of the molybdenum compound as expressed in median diameter is 10 nm or more and less than 600 nm.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber, comprising:
100 parts by mass of a halogen-containing polymer that contains 17 to 70 parts by mass of a halogen in 100 parts by mass of the polymer; and 1.3 to 20 parts by mass of a molybdenum compound, wherein the molybdenum compound is at least one kind of compound selected from the group consisting of molybdenum oxide, ammonium molybdate, molybdenum oxide supported on an inorganic filler and ammonium molybdate supported on an inorganic filler, and an average particle diameter of the molybdenum compound as expressed in median diameter is 10 nm or more and less than 600 nm.

The halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber according to claim 1 , wherein the halogen-containing polymer is a polymer obtained by polymerizing 100 parts by mass of a monomer composition in total that contains 30 to 70 parts by mass of acrylonitrile, 30 to 70 parts by mass of a halogen-containing vinylidene monomer and/or a halogen-containing vinyl monomer, and 0 to 10 parts by mass of a vinyl monomer copolymerizable therewith.

The halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber according to claim 2 , wherein the halogen-containing polymer is a polymer obtained by polymerizing 100 parts by mass of a monomer composition in total that contains 30 to 70 parts by mass of acrylonitrile, 30 to 70 parts by mass of a halogen-containing vinylidene monomer, and 0 to 10 parts by mass of a vinyl monomer copolymerizable therewith.
4 . The halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber according to claim 1 , wherein the average particle diameter of the molybdenum compound as expressed in median diameter is 10 nm or more and less than 300 nm.
5 . The halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber according to claim 1 , wherein the average particle diameter of the molybdenum compound as expressed in median diameter is 10 nm or more and less than 100 nm.
6 . The halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber according to claim 1 , wherein the inorganic filler contains talc and/or calcium carbonate.
7 . The halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber according to claim 1 , wherein in a burning test method based on ISO 15025:2000 (Procedure A), an evaluation fabric does not melt and has an average afterflame time of less than 30 seconds.

A method for producing the halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber according to claim 1 , comprising spinning a composition that contains 100 parts by mass of a halogen-containing polymer that contains 17 to 70 parts by mass of a halogen in 100 parts by mass of the polymer, and 1.3 to 20 parts by mass of a molybdenum compound,
wherein the molybdenum compound is at least one kind of compound selected from the group consisting of molybdenum oxide, ammonium molybdate, molybdenum oxide supported on an inorganic filler and ammonium molybdate supported on an inorganic filler, and in the composition for the spinning, an average particle diameter of the molybdenum compound as expressed in median diameter is 10 nm or more and less than 600 nm.
9 . The method for producing the halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber according to claim 8 , wherein the halogen-containing polymer is a polymer obtained by polymerizing 100 parts by mass of a monomer composition in total that contains 30 to 70 parts by mass of acrylonitrile, 30 to 70 parts by mass of a halogen-containing vinylidene monomer and/or a halogen-containing vinyl monomer, and 0 to 10 parts by mass of a vinyl monomer copolymerizable therewith.
10 . The method for producing the halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber according to claim 8 , wherein the average particle diameter of the molybdenum compound as expressed in median diameter is 10 nm or more and less than 300 nm.
11 . The method for producing the halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber according to claim 8 , wherein the average particle diameter of the molybdenum compound as expressed in median diameter is 10 nm or more and less than 100 nm.
12 . The method for producing the halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber according to claim 8 , wherein the inorganic filler contains talc and/or calcium carbonate.
13 . A flame-retardant fiber product comprising a halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber,
wherein the halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber comprises: 100 parts by mass of a halogen-containing polymer that contains 17 to 70 parts by mass of a halogen in 100 parts by mass of the polymer; and 1.3 to 20 parts by mass of a molybdenum compound, the molybdenum compound is at least one kind of compound selected from the group consisting of molybdenum oxide, ammonium molybdate, molybdenum oxide supported on an inorganic filler and ammonium molybdate supported on an inorganic filler, and an average particle diameter of the molybdenum compound as expressed in median diameter is 10 nm or more and less than 600 nm.
14 . The flame-retardant fiber product according to claim 13 , wherein the halogen-containing polymer is a polymer obtained by polymerizing 100 parts by mass of a monomer composition in total that contains 30 to 70 parts by mass of acrylonitrile, 30 to 70 parts by mass of a halogen-containing vinylidene monomer and/or a halogen-containing vinyl monomer, and 0 to 10 parts by mass of a vinyl monomer copolymerizable therewith.
15 . The flame-retardant fiber product according to claim 13 , wherein the average particle diameter of the molybdenum compound as expressed in median diameter is 10 nm or more and less than 300 nm.
16 . The flame-retardant fiber product according to claim 13 , wherein the average particle diameter of the molybdenum compound as expressed in median diameter is 10 nm or more and less than 100 nm.
17 . The flame-retardant fiber product according to claim 13 , wherein the flame-retardant fiber product contains 10% by mass or more of the halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber, and 90% by mass or less of at least one kind of other fiber selected from the group consisting of a natural fiber, a regenerated fiber, a semisynthetic fiber, and a synthetic fiber other than the halogen-containing flame-retardant fiber.
18 . The flame-retardant fiber product according to claim 17 , wherein the flame-retardant fiber product contains 30 to 70% by mass of the other fiber.
19 . The flame-retardant fiber product according to claim 17 , wherein the other fiber contains a cellulosic fiber.
20 . The flame-retardant fiber product according to claim 19 , wherein the cellulosic fiber is at least one kind of fiber selected from the group consisting of a cotton fiber, a linen fiber, a rayon fiber, a polynosic fiber, a cupra fiber, and a cellulose acetate fiber.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
