Abstract
A cylindrical casing for containing pastes such as edible pastes and which comprises two films ( 12, 14 ) which are laminated together. One film is of polyamide and the other is of polyethylene. The casing includes an overlap seal.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A cylindrical casing for paste which comprises two films of synthetic plastics material laminated together, one film being of polyamide and the other film being of polyethylene and there being an overlap seal at which the polyamide is heat sealed to the polyethylene.
2 . A casing as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the polyamide is shrinkable polyamide.
3 . A casing as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the polyethylene is low density polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene or metallocene.
4 . A casing as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the polyethylene is a blend of linear low density polyethylene and high density polyethylene with the linear low density polyethylene predominating.
5 . A casing as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the polyethylene is low density polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene or metallocene.
