Abstract
An ankle brace includes a foot plate comprising a heel portion having means for tilting the ankle brace to adjust a hindfoot varus or valgus position; at least one upright support connected to the foot plate; and an arch support attachable to a top surface of the foot plate.

1 . An ankle brace, comprising:
a foot plate comprising a heel portion having means for tilting the ankle brace to adjust a hindfoot varus or valgus position; at least one upright support connected to the foot plate; and an arch support attachable to a top surface of the foot plate.
2 . The ankle brace according to claim 1 , further comprising a collar positioned at or near a top of the at least one upright support to adjust the ankle brace to a leg.
3 . The ankle brace according to claim 1 , wherein said means for tilting the ankle brace comprises the heel portion having at least one opening to receive at least one peg located on a top of a disk.
4 . The ankle brace according to claim 3 , wherein the disk comprises a flat top surface comprising the at least one peg and an angled bottom surface.
5 . The ankle brace according to claim 1 , wherein the arch pocket or support is attachable to the foot plate via a hook and loop mechanism.
6 . The ankle brace according to claim 1 , wherein the arch pocket or support is attachable to the foot plate via a snap-fit mechanism.
7 . The ankle brace according to claim 6 , wherein snap-fit mechanism comprises a plurality of pegs on a bottom of the arch pocket or support which are receivable into a corresponding plurality of openings in the foot plate.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
