Claims

Abstract

The band is provided with a first band member and a second band member attached to an instrument main body, and a linking member. Each of the band members is provided with an expanding section that expands along a band extension direction, the expanding section having pliability, and having first slits having a pair of slits lying along the width direction and a slit lying along the band extension direction, and a pair of second slits lying along the width direction to communicate with the outside of the expanding section. A linking member is provided with a fixed member; a sliding member capable of sliding along the band extension direction of the first band member and provided with a linking section (projecting rod) for linking with the second band member; and an urging member for urging the sliding member in the opposite direction from the band extension direction.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A biological information measurement device, comprising:
 a main body that includes a biological information measurement unit configured to measure biological information of a subject;   a first band member that expands along a band extension direction of the first band member and is attached to the main body; and   a second band member that expands towards an opposite direction from the band extension direction and is attached to the main body,   the first band member including a band main body and an expanding section disposed closer to the main body than the band main body along the band extension direction,   the expanding section having
 a first connecting section positioned on a side of the main body, 
 a second connecting section positioned on an opposite side from the side of main body, and 
 a first U-shaped section and a second U-shaped section connected with the first connecting section and the second connecting section. 
   
     
     
         2 . The biological information measurement device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 each of the first connecting section and the second connecting section has
 a basal section lying along a direction perpendicular to the band extension direction, and 
 a pair of extending sections extending along the band extension direction from either end of the basal section. 
   
     
     
         3 . The biological information measurement device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the first U-shaped section includes a first extending section and a first bottom section,   the second U-shaped section includes a second extending section and a second bottom section, and   the first bottom section and the second bottom section are disposed along a direction perpendicular to the band extension direction with a predetermined gap smaller than that of the first extending section and the second extending section.   
     
     
         4 . The biological information measurement device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 a first slit is defined by the first connecting section, the second connecting section, the first U-shaped section, and the second U-shaped section, and   a second slit is defined by distal ends of the first U-shaped section or distal ends of the second U-shaped section.   
     
     
         5 . The biological information measurement device according to  claim 3 , wherein
 the first U-shaped section further has a first U-shaped inner surface defining a first opening that opens in the direction perpendicular to the band extension direction,   the second U-shaped section further has a second U-shaped inner surface defining a second opening that opens in the direction perpendicular to the band extension direction, and   the predetermined gap is smaller than a distance between the first U-shaped inner surface and the second U-shaped inner surface in the direction perpendicular to the band extension direction.
