Abstract
A method of creating a delivery session for multiple broadcast multicast service centers may include providing a first create delivery session message for a first broadcast multicast service center. A service key identification and a key domain identification may be received from the first broadcast multicast service center, and a second create delivery session message may be provided for a second broadcast multicast service center. The second create delivery session message may include the service key identification and the key domain identification from the first broadcast multicast service center, and the second create delivery session message may include a duplicate indication.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method of creating a delivery session for multiple broadcast multicast service centers, the method comprising:
providing a first create delivery session message for a first broadcast multicast service center; receiving a service key identification and a key domain identification from the first broadcast multicast service center; and providing a second create delivery session message for a second broadcast multicast service center, wherein the second create delivery session message includes the service key identification and the key domain identification from the first broadcast multicast service center and wherein the second create delivery session message includes a duplicate indication.

The method of claim 1 wherein providing the second create delivery session message comprises providing the second create delivery session message for the second broadcast multicast service center responsive to receiving the service key identification and the key Domain identification from the first broadcast multicast service center.
3 . The method of any of claim 1 , wherein the first broadcast multicast service center is remote from the second broadcast multicast service center.
4 . The method of claim 3 wherein providing the first create delivery session message comprises transmitting the first create delivery session message from a broadcast provisioning system to the first broadcast multicast service center remote from the broadcast provisioning system.
5 . The method of claim 3 , wherein providing the second create delivery session message comprises transmitting the second create delivery session message from a broadcast provisioning system to the second broadcast multicast service center remote from the broadcast provisioning system.
6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
providing a third create delivery session message for a third broadcast multicast service center, wherein the third create delivery session message includes a duplicate indication and wherein the third create deliver session message includes the service key identification and the key domain identification from the first broadcast multicast service center, and wherein the third broadcast multicast service center is remote from the first and second broadcast multicast service centers.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first create delivery session message includes a new service indication, and wherein the second create delivery session message includes a duplicate indication.
8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving the service key identification and the key Domain identification from the second broadcast multicast service center.
9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the service key identification comprises a Multimedia-Broadcast/Multicast-Service, MBMS, service key identification.
10 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
providing a first traffic key identification message to the first broadcast multicast service center, wherein the first traffic key identification message includes the service key identification, the key domain identification, a traffic key identification, and a refresh time associated with the traffic key identification; and providing a second traffic key identification message to the second broadcast multicast service center, wherein the second traffic key identification message includes the service key identification, the key domain identification, the traffic key identification, and the refresh time associated with the traffic key identification.
11 . The method of claim 10 wherein the first create delivery session message includes a delivery session identification and a service identification, wherein the second create delivery session message includes the delivery session identification and the service identification, wherein the first traffic key identification message includes the delivery session identification and the service identification, and wherein the second traffic key identification message includes the delivery session identification and the service identification.
12 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the service key identification is a first service key identification, wherein the first create delivery session message includes a delivery session identification and a service identification, and wherein the second create delivery session message includes the delivery session identification and the service identification, the method further comprising:
providing a first update delivery session message for the first broadcast multicast service center, wherein the first update delivery session message includes the delivery session identification and the service identification; receiving the key domain identification and a second service key identification from the first broadcast multicast service center, wherein the first and second service key identifications are different; and providing a second update delivery session message for a second broadcast multicast service center, wherein the second create delivery session message includes the second service key identification and the key domain identification from the first broadcast multicast service center.
13 . The method of claim 1 , wherein receiving the service key identification and the key domain identification further comprises receiving the service key identification, the key domain identification, and a service key from the first broadcast multicast service center, and wherein the second create delivery session message further includes the service key from the first broadcast multicast service center.
14 . A broadcast provisioning system comprising:
a provisioning interface providing communications with first and second broadcast multicast service centers; and a processor circuit coupled to the provisioning interface, wherein the processor circuit is configured to, provide a first create delivery session message for the first broadcast multicast service center through the provisioning interface, wherein the first create delivery session message includes a new service indication, receive a service key identification and a key Domain identification from the first broadcast multicast service center through the provisioning interface, and provide a second create delivery session message for the second broadcast multicast service center through the provisioning interface, wherein the second create delivery session message includes the service key identification and the key domain identification from the first broadcast multicast service center.
15 . A method of providing a broadcast service at a broadcast multicast service center, the method comprising:
receiving a create delivery session message from a broadcast provisioning system; responsive to receiving the create delivery session message, creating a security service at the broadcast multicast service center including a key domain identification and a service key identification; and providing the service key identification and the key domain identification for the security service to the broadcast provisioning system.

The method of claim 15 wherein receiving the create delivery session message comprises receiving the create delivery session message including a new service indication, wherein creating the security service comprises creating the key domain identification and the service key identification at the broadcast multicast service center.
17 . The method of claim 15 wherein receiving the create delivery session message comprises receiving the create delivery session message including a duplicate indication and including the key domain indication and the service key identification, and wherein creating the security service comprises creating the security service using the key domain identification and the service key identification received from the broadcast provisioning system.
18 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising:
receiving a traffic key identification message from the broadcast provisioning system, wherein the traffic key identification message includes the service key identification, the key domain identification, a traffic key identification, and a refresh time associated with the traffic key identification.
19 . The method of claim 18 wherein the create delivery session message includes a delivery session identification and a service identification, and wherein the traffic key identification message includes the delivery session identification and the service identification.
20 . The method of claim 19 further comprising:
generating a traffic key at the broadcast multicast service center using the service key identification, the key domain identification, and the traffic key identification.
21 . The method of claim 20 wherein the traffic key comprises a Multimedia-Broadcast/Multicast-Service, MBMS, traffic key, wherein the service key identification comprises an MBMS service key identification, and wherein the traffic key identification comprises an MBMS traffic key identification.
22 . The method of claim 20 , wherein creating further comprises creating a service key identified by the key domain identification and the service key identification, the method further comprising:
transmitting the service key to a user equipment node; transmitting the traffic key to the user equipment node protected with the service key; and transmitting multimedia content data to the user equipment node protected with the traffic key.
23 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the service key identification is a first service key identification, and wherein the create delivery session message includes a delivery session identification and a service identification, the method further comprising:
receiving an update delivery session message from the broadcast provisioning system, wherein the first update delivery session message includes the delivery session identification and the service identification; responsive to receiving the update delivery session message, updating the security service at the broadcast multicast service center to use the key domain identification and a second service key identification, wherein the first and second service key identifications are different; and providing the key domain identification and the second service key identification for the security service to the broadcast provisioning system.

The method of claim 15 , wherein creating the security service comprises creating security service including the service key identification, the key domain identification, and a service key, and wherein providing the service key identification and the key domain identification further comprises providing the service key identification, the key domain identification, and the service key to the broadcast provisioning system.
25 . A broadcast multicast service center comprising:
a provisioning interface providing communications with a broadcast provisioning system; and a processor circuit coupled to the provisioning interface, wherein the processor circuit is configured to, receive a create delivery session message from the broadcast provisioning system through the provisioning interface, create a security service including a key domain identification and a service key identification responsive to receiving the create delivery session message, and provide the service key identification and the key domain identification for the security service through the provisioning interface to the broadcast provisioning system.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
