Abstract
A computer-implemented method comprises receiving information indicating a location of a user. The location information is determined by a computing device carried by the user. The method further comprises performing a search of user content. The user content is associated with the user and is searched based on the location of the user. The method further comprises communicating results of the search to the computing device.

1 . A contextual-based information display system comprising:
a network interface configured to receive location information relating to a current location of a user of a user device from the user device via a network; a memory storing a user repository, the user repository having stored therein user content received from the user, the user content including a plurality of files; and a processor configured to:
generate a context keyword that characterizes at least the current location of the user,
perform a search of the user repository utilizing the context keyword as a search parameter to identify user content that is relevant to the user at the current location, and
transmit search results from the search to the user device.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to index the user content by creating a keyword index comprising a plurality of content keywords, each of the plurality of content keywords being associated with a file of the plurality of files.
3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the search is performed by identifying matches between the (i) content keywords and (ii) the context keywords.
4 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the keyword index further includes user-assigned tags for the plurality of files.
5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the search is performed by identifying matches between the (i) content keywords or the user-assigned tags and (ii) the context keywords
6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to:
receive a simulated context of the user from the user device, wherein the simulated context relates to a simulated location, wherein the simulated location is different than the current location of the user; generate a simulated context keyword that characterizes the simulated location; perform a simulated search of the user repository utilizing the simulated context keyword as a search parameter to identify user content that is relevant to the user at the simulated location; and transmit simulated search results from the simulated search to the user device.

The system of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to add and delete files from the user repository based on commands received from a submission tool, wherein the submission tool is one of a website application, a browser plugin, an e-mail plugin, a dedicated e-mail address, a desktop agent, and a mobile application.
8 . A method of providing contextual-based search results from a user repository via a contextual-based information display system, the method comprising:
storing, by the processor of the contextual-based information display system, user content in the user repository, the user content including a plurality of files; receiving, by the processor and from a user device associated with a user, location information relating to a current location of the user; generating, by the processor, a context keyword that characterizes at least the current location of the user; performing, by the processor, a search of the user repository utilizing the context keyword as a search parameter to identify user content that is relevant to the user at the current location; and transmitting, by the processor, search results from the search to the user device.
9 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising indexing, by the processor, the user content by creating a keyword index comprising a plurality of content keywords, each of the plurality of content keywords being associated with a file of the plurality of files.
10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein performing the search includes identifying matches between the (i) content keywords and (ii) the context keywords.
11 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the keyword index further includes user-assigned tags for the plurality of files.
12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein performing the search includes identifying matches between the (i) content keywords or the user-assigned tags and (ii) the context keywords
13 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising:
receiving, by the processor, a simulated context of the user from the user device, wherein the simulated context relates to a simulated location, wherein the simulated location is different than the current location of the user; generating, by the processor, a simulated context keyword that characterizes the simulated location; performing, by the processor, a simulated search of the user repository utilizing the simulated context keyword as a search parameter to identify user content that is relevant to the user at the simulated location; and transmitting, by the processor, simulated search results from the simulated search to the user device.

The method of claim 8 , further comprising adding and deleting files from the user repository based on commands received from a submission tool, wherein the submission tool is one of a website application, a browser plugin, an e-mail plugin, a dedicated e-mail address, a desktop agent, and a mobile application.

A non-transitory computer readable media with computer-executable instructions embodied thereon that, when executed by a processor of a contextual-based information display system, cause the contextual-based information display system to perform a process of providing search results from a user repository, the process comprising:
storing user content in the user repository, the user content including a plurality of files; receiving location information from a user device associated with a user, the location information relating to a current location of the user; generating a context keyword that characterizes at least the current location of the user; performing a search of the user repository utilizing the context keyword as a search parameter to identify user content that is relevant to the user at the current location; and transmitting search results from the search to the user device.
16 . The media of claim 15 , wherein the process further comprises indexing the user content by creating a keyword index comprising a plurality of content keywords, each of the plurality of content keywords being associated with a file of the plurality of files.
17 . The media of claim 16 , wherein performing the search includes identifying matches between the (i) content keywords and (ii) the context keywords.
18 . The media of claim 16 , wherein the keyword index further includes user-assigned tags for the plurality of files.
19 . The media of claim 18 , wherein performing the search includes identifying matches between the (i) content keywords or the user-assigned tags and (ii) the context keywords.
20 . The media of claim 15 , wherein the process further comprises:
receiving a simulated context of the user from the user device, wherein the simulated context relates to a simulated location, wherein the simulated location is different than the current location of the user; generating a simulated context keyword that characterizes the simulated location; performing a simulated search of the user repository utilizing the simulated context keyword as a search parameter to identify user content that is relevant to the user at the simulated location; and transmitting simulated search results from the simulated search to the user device.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
