Abstract
The present invention includes a transport and display container comprising a display base with peripheral edge; an inner step positioned on a base having an inner step edge about the periphery of inner step parallel to peripheral edge, wherein outer lip extends from peripheral edge to inner step edge; a block securing holder positioned on inner step comprised of 4 adjacent walls extending from inner step to form a block fitting area of about 4″×12″×9″; an inner lip extending from inner step edge to 4 adjacent walls; one or more high-density foam blocks positioned in securing holder, wherein 4 adjacent walls each extend above one or more high-density foam blocks; and transparent cover comprising a top cover connected to 4 side walls and having a bottom peripheral edge supported by outer lip and fit about inner step edge to secure the cover about the container.

1 . A transport and display container comprising:
a display base having a peripheral edge; an inner step positioned on the display base having an inner step edge about the periphery of the inner step and generally parallel to the peripheral edge; an outer lip that extends from the peripheral edge to the inner step edge; a block securing holder adapted to fit one or more high-density foam blocks positioned on the inner step, wherein the block securing holder comprises 4 adjacent walls positioned generally parallel to the peripheral edge to form a block fitting area and extending upwardly from the inner step at least about 2″, wherein the 4 adjacent walls each extend adjacent the one or more high-density foam blocks; an inner lip that extends from the inner step edge to the 4 adjacent walls; and a transparent cover comprising a top cover connected to 4 side walls and having a bottom peripheral edge that is supported by the outer lip and fit about the inner step edge to secure the cover about the transport and display container.
2 . The transport and display container of claim 1 , wherein the block fitting area is 12″×9″.
3 . The transport and display container of claim 1 , wherein the block fitting area is 24″×9″; 12″×18″; or 2 separate 12″×9″ areas.
4 . The transport and display container of claim 1 , wherein the 4 adjacent walls extend upwardly from the inner step about 4″.
5 . The transport and display container of claim 1 , wherein the one or more high-density foam blocks are 4″×12″×9″ high-density foam yoga blocks.
6 . A transport and display container comprising:
a display base having a peripheral edge; an inner step positioned on the display base having an inner step edge about the periphery of the inner step and generally parallel to the peripheral edge; an outer lip that extends from the peripheral edge to the inner step edge; a block securing holder adapted to fit one or more high-density foam blocks positioned on the inner step, wherein the block securing holder comprises at least 4 retainers positioned generally parallel to the peripheral edge to form a block fitting area and extending upwardly from the inner step; an inner lip that extends from the inner step edge to the at least 4 retainers; and a transparent cover comprising a top cover connected to 4 side walls and having a bottom peripheral edge that is supported by the outer lip and fit about the inner step edge to secure the cover about the transport and display container.
7 . The transport and display container of claim 6 , wherein the at least 4 retainers form a rectangular enclosure with 4 adjacent walls extending upwardly from the inner step to form a block fitting area.
8 . The transport and display container of claim 6 , wherein the at least 4 retainers are separated from each other by an opening and adapted to fit a rectangular block.
9 . The transport and display container of claim 6 , wherein the at least 4 retainers each have a general “L” shape and positioned to form a corner and separated from each other by an opening and adapted to fit a rectangular block.
10 . The transport and display container of claim 6 , wherein the at least 4 retainers extend upwardly at least 2″ from the inner step.
11 . The transport and display container of claim 6 , wherein the at least 4 retainers extend upwardly at least 4″ from the inner step.
12 . The transport and display container of claim 6 , wherein the block securing holder is 12″×9″.
13 . The transport and display container of claim 6 , wherein the block securing holder is 24″×9″; 12″×18″; or 2 separate 12″×9″ areas.
14 . The transport and display container of claim 6 , wherein the one or more high-density foam blocks are yoga blocks.
15 . The transport and display container of claim 6 , wherein the one or more high-density foam blocks comprise EVA.
16 . The transport and display container of claim 6 , wherein the one or more high-density foam blocks comprise a polyolefin selected from the group consisting of polypropylene, polyisobutylene, polybut-1-ene, poly-4-methylpent-1-ene, polyisoprene, polybutadiene, cyclopentene, norbornene, polyethylene, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), high-density and high molecular weight polyethylene (HDPE-HMW), high-density and ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (HDPE-UHMW), medium density polyethylene (MDPE), low-density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), very low-density polypropylene VLDPE), ultra low-density polypropylene (ULDPE), mixtures of polypropylene with polyisobutylene, mixtures of polypropylene with polyethylene, ethylene/propylene copolymers, linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and mixtures of linear low-density polyethylene with low-density polyethylene (LDPE), propylene/but-1-ene copolymers, propylene/isobutylene copolymers, ethylene/but-1-ene copolymers, ethylene/hexene copolymers, ethylene/methylpentene copolymers, ethylene/heptene copolymers, ethylene/octene copolymers, propylene/butadiene copolymers, isobutylene/isoprene copolymers, ethylene/alkyl acrylate copolymers, ethylene/alkyl methacrylate copolymers, ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymers, polypropylene/ethylene-propylene copolymers, LDPE/ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers (EVA), LDPE/ethylene-acrylic acid copolymers (EAA), LLDPE/EVA, LLDPE/EAA, ethylene-propylene-diene monomer copolymers (EPDM), copolymers of ethylene with higher alpha-olefins, polybutadiene, polyisoprene, styrene-butadiene copolymers, hydrogenated styrene-butadiene copolymers, styrene-isoprene copolymers, hydrogenated styrene-isoprene copolymers.
17 . A method of transporting and displaying an object comprising the steps of:
providing a transport and display container comprising a display base having a peripheral edge; an inner step positioned on the display base having an inner step edge about the periphery of the inner step and generally parallel to the peripheral edge; an outer lip that extends from the peripheral edge to the inner step edge; a block securing holder adapted to fit one or more high-density foam blocks positioned on the inner step, wherein the block securing holder comprises 4 adjacent walls positioned generally parallel to the peripheral edge to form a block fitting area and extending upwardly from the inner step at least about 2″, wherein the 4 adjacent walls each extend adjacent the one or more high-density foam blocks; and an inner lip that extends from the inner step edge to the 4 adjacent walls; positioning a high-density foam block in the block securing holder; insert one or more objects into the high-density foam block; and positioning a transparent cover onto the transport and display container, wherein the transparent cover comprises a top cover connected to 4 side walls and having a bottom peripheral edge that is supported by the outer lip and fit about the inner step edge to secure the cover about the transport and display container.
18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the high-density foam blocks are 4″×12″×9″ high-density foam yoga blocks.
