Cranial Device With Rotary Tilt Sensor
Abstract
The invention relates to an improved cranial device with a rotary inclination detector, including a container box which can be secured to the cranium of sleeping person and which contains an electric motor and an eccentric counterweight coupled thereto, forming a vibrator. The device also includes a battery or a battery holder for at least one battery, which is provided with two axially opposed projecting contacts or studs. The container box is provided with inclined formations with dielectric properties, on which the battery or battery holder can roll by means of the studs thereof, and two electric contacts on which the inclined formations terminate, such that, when the battery holder is placed on the electric contacts, the motor circuit is closed, thereby activating the vibrator.

9 . A device with a postural sensor for preventing respiratory obstruction or resistance of a sleeping individual, said device comprising:
a container box adapted to be attached to a part of the body of the individual; a memory module for storing information relative to the individual and to the device; a connectivity module for transmitting said information to an external device; wherein the device further comprises, arranged inside said container box, a vibration module for producing vibration; a feed system based on a power cell or a rechargeable battery; an activation module for activating the vibration module when the individual wearing the device adopts a certain position, wherein the vibration module transmits vibration to said part of the body of the individual; an adjustable timing electronic circuit adapted to delay the activation of the vibration module; and an adjustable electronic circuit adapted to progressively and automatically increase the vibration power as a function of time.
10 . The device according to claim 9 , wherein the device further comprises an attachment system for attaching the container box of the device to the part of the body of the individual, wherein said attachment system includes an adhesive patch with a socket for inserting the container box.

The device according to claim 9 , wherein the activation module comprises an acceleration transducer and/or a position transducer of one or more axes, and a programmable circuit adapted to pick up acceleration signals and/or position signals from the acceleration transducer and/or the position transducer, analyze the acceleration signals and/or position signals, and generate the signals for activating the vibration module.

The device according to claim 9 , wherein the container box comprises some tilted structures with dielectric characteristics, wherein the activation module comprises a rotary part that can roll through its ends over said tilted structures, and two electrical contacts wherein said tilted structures terminate, wherein the rotary part closes an electrical circuit that activates the vibration module when the rotary part comes to rest over said electrical contacts.
13 . The device according to claim 12 , wherein the tilted structures have a tilt of between 35° and 90°.
14 . The device according to claim 12 , wherein the rotary part comprises a power cell holder for housing the power cell, wherein said holder comprises two axially opposed overhanging contacts or lugs.
15 . The device according to claim 12 , wherein the rotary part comprises a conductive metal cylinder.

The device according to claim 9 , wherein the activation module comprises a conductive metal sphere housed in a conic-shaped conductive bush shaped as a funnel with a suitable tilt and comprising a bottom contact separated by a dielectric material placed in the opening of smaller diameter of the conical bush, such that by horizontally positioning the assembly the sphere is displaced over the wall of the conical bush by gravitational effect, until coming to rest over the bottom contact, closing an electrical circuit that activates the vibration module.
17 . The device according to claim 9 , wherein the vibration module comprises a vibrating electro-mechanic device.
18 . The device according to claim 17 , wherein the vibrating electromechanical device is an electric motor and an eccentric counterweight coupled thereto.
19 . The device according to claim 9 , wherein the vibration module is held on to the container box, and wherein the container box comprises two pieces coupled to each other.
20 . The device according to claim 19 , wherein one of said two pieces is a lid over which there is a structure for attaching the vibration module.
21 . The device according to claim 9 , wherein the device is a cranial device, and wherein the container box is adapted to be attached to the skull of the individual.
