Abstract

An arm-worn electronic device used while being worn on an arm is proposed. A novel device that includes a display portion having a curved surface, a secondary battery having a curved surface, and a member for being worn on a user's upper arm so that the display portion and the secondary battery are worn on the user's upper arm. Part of the display portion overlaps with the secondary battery. The novel device is useful for workers in the manufacturing industry and the distribution industry, police officers, fire fighters, health workers, care workers, sales people who work with their hands when it is worn on their arms. The novel device can also be used as military equipment or a wearable computer that assists a user who operates a vehicle or a plane, for the military's sake.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . An electronic device comprising:
a display portion having a curved surface with a radius of curvature of greater than or equal to 1 mm and less than or equal to 150 mm; a secondary battery along the display portion, the secondary battery having a curved surface with a radius of curvature of greater than or equal to 10 mm and less than or equal to 150 mm; and a member for being worn on a user's upper arm, wherein a part of the display portion overlaps with the secondary battery.

2 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the member is any one of a string, a wire, a net, a belt, a spring, a strip-like leaf spring, and a hook and loop fastener.

3 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , further comprising a touch panel overlapping with the display portion.

4 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , further comprising a film including an opening,
wherein the member is a band, and wherein the band is passed through the opening.

5 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , further comprising an audio input portion.

6 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , further comprising an audio output portion.

7 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , further comprising an antenna and a circuit that wirelessly charges the secondary battery.

8 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the radius of curvature of the curved surface of the display portion is different from the radius of curvature of the curved surface of the secondary battery.

9 . The electronic device according to claim 1 ,
wherein the display portion is a flexible display portion, and wherein the secondary battery is a flexible secondary battery.

10 . An electronic device comprising:
a first display portion having a curved surface with a radius of curvature of greater than or equal to 1 mm and less than or equal to 150 mm; a second display portion adjacent to the first display portion, the second display portion having a curved surface with a radius of curvature of greater than or equal to 1 mm and less than or equal to 150 mm; and a secondary battery along the first display portion, the secondary battery having a curved surface with a radius of curvature of greater than or equal to 10 mm and less than or equal to 150 mm, wherein a part of the first display portion overlaps with the secondary battery, and wherein a part of the second display portion overlaps with the secondary battery.

11 . The electronic device according to claim 10 , further comprising a member for being worn on a user's upper arm.

12 . The electronic device according to claim 11 , wherein the member is any one of a string, a wire, a net, a belt, a spring, a strip-like leaf spring, and a hook and loop fastener.

13 . The electronic device according to claim 10 , wherein a screen size of the first display portion is different from a screen size of the second display portion.

14 . The electronic device according to claim 10 , further comprising:
a first touch panel overlapping with the first display portion; and a second touch panel overlapping with the second display portion.

15 . The electronic device according to claim 10 , further comprising a housing having a ring form.

16 . The electronic device according to claim 10 , wherein the first display portion further has a curved surface with a radius of curvature of greater than or equal to 1 mm and less than or equal to 20 mm.

17 . The electronic device according to claim 10 , wherein the secondary battery is a flexible secondary battery.

18 . The electronic device according to claim 10 ,
wherein the first display portion is a flexible display portion, wherein the second display portion is a flexible display portion, and wherein the secondary battery is a flexible secondary battery.
