Abstract
Provided is a handler apparatus which can connect devices under test to sockets of a test apparatus quickly and with low power consumption. The handler apparatus for conveying and connecting a plurality of devices under test to a plurality of sockets provided on a test head of a test apparatus, includes a position adjusting section that moves each of the plurality of devices under test on the test tray and adjusts the position thereof to a corresponding one of the plurality of sockets; and a device mounting section that mounts the plurality of devices under test whose positions have been adjusted by the position adjusting section, to the plurality of sockets.

1 . A mechanism for mounting a device, comprising:
an inner unit for mounting the device, an outer unit that is movable relative to the inner unit, wherein the mechanism is mechanically able to switch between whether to causes a lock between the inner unit and the outer unit or to releases the lock.
2 . The mechanism according to claim 1 , wherein the outer unit includes a lock mechanism to mechanically switch between whether to lock the inner unit or to retain the inner unit to be movable.
3 . The mechanism according to claim 2 , wherein the lock mechanism includes:
a release pin provided on a frame of the outer unit, the release pin being pressed when releasing the inner unit, and a release section that releases the pressure of the inner unit when the release pin is pressed.
4 . The mechanism according to claim 1 , wherein the inner unit includes a spring for fixing the device.
5 . The mechanism according to claim 1 , wherein the inner unit includes a penetration hole for exposing the device to a temperature controller, the temperature controller controlling temperature of the device.
6 . The mechanism according to claim 5 , wherein the outer unit includes a penetration hole for exposing the device to the temperature controller.
7 . The mechanism according to claim 3 , wherein the release pin is provided for the outer unit via the spring.
8 . The mechanism according to claim 1 , wherein the mechanism is provided for a tray that mounts a plurality of the devices, and
the outer unit moves relative to the tray.
9 . A tray for mounting a plurality of devices, comprising the mechanism according to claim 1 corresponding to each of the plurality of devices.
10 . An apparatus comprising:
an inner unit for mounting a device, wherein the mechanism is mechanically able to switch between whether to cause a lock between the inner unit and an outer unit, which is movable relative to the inner unit, or to release the lock.
11 . An apparatus comprising:
