Abstract

A vehicle includes a coil receiving electric power contactlessly from a power transmission unit provided externally; and a bottom surface. The coil is formed to surround a winding axis of the coil. When the winding axis and the bottom surface are viewed from above the vehicle, the coil is disposed such that the winding axis located to fall within the bottom surface is shorter in length than the vehicle in a front-rear direction.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A vehicle comprising:
a coil receiving electric power contactlessly from a power transmission unit provided externally; and a bottom surface, said coil being formed to surround a winding axis of said coil, when said winding axis and said bottom surface are viewed from above said vehicle, said coil being disposed such that said winding axis located to fall within said bottom surface is shorter in length than said vehicle in a front-rear direction.

2 . The vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein said coil is disposed such that said winding axis extends in a width direction of said vehicle.

3 . The vehicle according to claim 1 , further comprising a door that opens/closes an opening of a passenger compartment housing a passenger, wherein
said coil is provided on at least one of a front side and a rear side relative to said door in a traveling direction.

4 . The vehicle according to claim 1 , further comprising a first wheel and a second wheel arranged in a width direction of said vehicle, wherein
said coil is disposed such that said winding axis passes through said first wheel and said second wheel.

5 . The vehicle according to claim 4 , further comprising a connection portion to which a supply unit that supplies energy is connected, wherein
said connection portion is provided, on a side surface of said vehicle, in at least one of a portion located above said first wheel and a portion located above said second wheel.

6 . The vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein said coil is disposed on a side of the bottom surface.

7 . The vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein when said coil is viewed from above said vehicle, a central line passing through a central portion of said vehicle in a width direction and extending in the front-rear direction of said vehicle passes through said coil.

8 . The vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein
said coil includes a first coil and a second coil, and said first coil and said second coil are arranged at a distance from each other in a direction in which said winding axis extends.

9 . The vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein
 said coil includes
a third coil formed to surround a first winding axis,
a fourth coil formed to surround said first winding axis and disposed at a distance from said third coil,
a fifth coil formed to surround a second winding axis, and
a sixth coil formed to surround said second winding axis and disposed at a distance from said fifth coil, and
when said first winding axis, said second winding axis and said bottom surface are viewed from above said vehicle, said first winding axis located to fall within said bottom surface and said second winding axis located to fall within said bottom surface each are shorter in length than said vehicle in the front-rear direction.

10 . The vehicle according to claim 1 , comprising a power reception unit including said coil, wherein
a difference between a natural frequency of said power transmission unit and a natural frequency of said power reception unit is equal to or less than 10% of the natural frequency of said power reception unit.

11 . The vehicle according to claim 1 , comprising a power reception unit including said coil, wherein
a coupling coefficient between said power reception unit and said power transmission unit is equal to or less than 0.1.

12 . The vehicle according to claim 1 , comprising a power reception unit including said coil, wherein
said power reception unit receives electric power from said power transmission unit through at least one of a magnetic field and an electric field, said magnetic field being formed between said power reception unit and said power transmission unit and oscillating at a specific frequency, said electric field being formed between said power reception unit and said power transmission unit and oscillating at the specific frequency.

         13 . A vehicle comprising:
a first coil and a second coil each receiving electric power contactlessly from a power transmission unit provided externally, said first coil being formed to surround a first winding axis extending in a vertical direction, said second coil being formed to surround a second winding axis extending in the vertical direction, and said first coil and said second coil being arranged in a width direction of said vehicle.
