Abstract

An improved perforating gun comprising a titled ported sub in an improved perforating gun is disclosed, comprising a first end, a second end, a tilted port, a center portion, a central channel, and an outer body. Said central channel comprises a first bore in said first end, an electrical channel, and a second bore in said second end. Said central channel comprises said first bore in said first end opening into said electrical channel and said electrical channel opening to said second bore. Said tilted port penetrates from said center channel and through to said outer body. Said tilted port comprising an offset angle being greater than 0 degrees and 90 degrees, where said offset angle is 0 degrees, said titled port is aligned to a normal line of said outer body. Said offset angle comprises a range of 15-60 degrees to allow easy access to said electrical channel.

Claims

         2 . An improved perforating gun, comprising:
 a titled ported sub in an improved perforating gun; said titled ported sub comprising
 a first end,
 a second end,
 a tilted port,
 a center portion,
 a central channel, and
 an outer body;
   said central channel comprises
 a first bore in said first end,
 an electrical channel, and
 a second bore in said second end;
   said central channel comprises said first bore in said first end opening into said electrical channel and said electrical channel opening to said second bore; said tilted port penetrates from said center channel and through to said outer body; and said tilted port comprising an offset angle being greater than 0 degrees and 90 degrees, where said offset angle is 0 degrees, said titled port is aligned to a normal line of said outer body.

         3 . The improved perforating gun of claim 2 , wherein
 a first end threading at said first end; a second end threading at said second end; and said first end threading and said second end threading selectively attach to other portions of said improved perforating gun.

         4 . The improved perforating gun of claim 2 , wherein
 a first end ribs; and a second end ribs.

         5 . The improved perforating gun of claim 2 , wherein
 said titled ported sub further comprises a one or more slots; and said one or more slots comprise
 an upper first end slot,
 a lower first end slot,
 an upper second end slot and
 a lower second end slot.

         6 . The improved perforating gun of claim 2 , wherein
 a plurality of said titled ported sub attached to said improved perforating gun.

         7 . The improved perforating gun of claim 2 , further comprising
 a grounds screw slot on said outer body; and wherein, said improved perforating gun is grounded with said grounds screw slow.

         8 . The improved perforating gun of claim 2 , wherein
 said offset angle comprises a range of 15-60 degrees to allow easy access to said electrical channel.

         9 . The improved perforating gun of claim 2 , further comprising
 an O-ring groove around said tilted port in said outer body; and wherein, said O-ring groove selectively receives an O-ring for creating a seal between said tilted port and another portion of said improved perforating gun.

         10 . The improved perforating gun of claim 2 , further comprising
 said outer body comprises a cylindrical shape between said first end and said second end.

         11 . A method of using an improved perforating gun, comprising:
 boring a titled port into an outer body of a titled ported sub, and attaching said titled ported sub to an improved perforating gun; wherein, said titled ported sub comprises
