a flexible sheet having a substrate layer, a backing layer having a top surface and a bottom surface and an attachment layer, said flexible sheet is formed substantially in the shape of the palm, said shape is delineated substantially by a thumb edge terminating at about the thumb area the human hand, a dorsal edge terminating at about the dorsal area of the hand, a finger edge terminating at about the base of the finger area, a hypothenar edge terminating at about the hypothenar area of the human hand, a wrist edge terminating at about the wrist area of the human hand, said substrate layer is disposed on said top surface of said backing layer and said attachment layer is disposed on said bottom surface of said backing layer and said attachment layer is configured to be removably attached to the palm directly.

. The minimal glove of claim 1 , wherein said attachment layer comprises an adhesive material.

. The minimal glove of claim 2 , wherein said adhesive material comprises a skin-safe medical grade material.

. The minimal glove of claim 1 , further comprising a protective sheet on which said attachment layer is attached such that said attachment layer of said flexible sheet is protected from contamination when said protective sheet is not in use.

. The minimal glove of claim 1 , said substrate layer is constructed from an antimicrobial material.

. The minimal glove of claim 1 , the thickness of said flexible sheet is no more than about 1/16 inch.

. The minimal glove of claim 1 , further comprising at least one cushion patch configured for removable attachment to said substrate layer.

. The minimal glove of claim 7 , wherein said at least one cushion patch includes a material selected from the group consisting of cotton and gel materials.

. The minimal glove of claim 1 , wherein said flexible sheet further comprises at least one through aperture.

. The minimal glove of claim 1 , further comprising an indicium indicating the palm to which said glove shall be applied.

. The minimal glove of claim 1 , wherein said minimal glove is disposable.

. A minimal glove capable of being removably secured to the palm of a human hand directly, said minimal glove comprises:
a flexible sheet having a substrate layer, a backing layer having a top surface and a bottom surface and an attachment layer, said flexible sheet is formed substantially in the shape of the palm, said shape is delineated substantially by a thumb edge terminating at about the thumb area the human hand, a dorsal edge terminating at about the dorsal area of the hand, a finger edge terminating at about the base of the finger area, a hypothenar edge terminating at about the hypothenar area of the human hand, a wrist edge terminating at about the wrist area of the human hand, said substrate layer is disposed on said top surface of said backing layer, said attachment layer is disposed on said bottom surface of said backing layer and said attachment layer is configured to be removably attached to the palm directly and said attachment layer comprises an adhesive material.

. The minimal glove of claim 12 , wherein said adhesive material comprises a skin-safe medical grade material.

. The minimal glove of claim 12 , further comprising a protective sheet on which said attachment layer is attached such that said attachment layer of said flexible sheet is protected from contamination when said protective sheet is not in use.

. The minimal glove of claim 12 , said substrate layer is constructed from an antimicrobial material.

. The minimal glove of claim 12 , the thickness of said flexible sheet is no more than about 1/16 inch.

. The minimal glove of claim 12 , further comprising at least one cushion patch configured for removable attachment to said substrate layer.
