Abstract

A closure capsule for containers, comprising: a side wall ( 1 ), of tubular shape concentric with a longitudinal axis (X); an end wall ( 2 ), disposed at a first end of the side wall ( 1 ) and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (X); an abutment wall ( 3 ), perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (X) and disposed inside the side wall ( 1 ) so as to provide an abutment for the upper edge of the neck of a container; the end wall ( 2 ) and the abutment wall ( 3 ) lie in distinct planes and the plane in which the end wall ( 2 ) lies is at a distance from the plane in which the abutment wall ( 3 ) lies, so as to increase the longitudinal extension of the side wall ( 1 ) by one end tract (T).

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A closure capsule for containers, comprising: a side wall ( 1 ) of tubular shape concentric with a longitudinal axis (X); an end wall ( 2 ) disposed at a first end of the side wall ( 1 ) and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (X); an abutment wall ( 3 ) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (X) and disposed inside the side wall ( 1 ) so as to provide an abutment for the upper edge of the neck of a container; characterized in that the end wall ( 2 ) and the abutment wall ( 3 ) lie in distinct planes and the plane in which the end wall ( 2 ) lies is at a distance from the plane in which the abutment wall ( 3 ) lies, so as to increase the longitudinal extension of the side wall ( 1 ) by one end tract (T).

2 . The capsule according to claim 1 , wherein the end tract (T) is provided with external ribs ( 21 ).

3 . The capsule according to claim 1 , wherein the end tract (T) is provided with internal ribs ( 22 ).

4 . The capsule according to claim 1 , comprising a security ring ( 8 ) that is breakably connected to a lower edge ( 4 ) of the side wall ( 1 ), wherein the security ring ( 8 ) comprises a connecting lip ( 9 ) facing the inside of the side wall ( 1 ) and the end wall ( 2 ), said connecting lip ( 9 ), being arranged so as to come into contact with a radial ring associated with the neck of a container, and provided with a first edge ( 91 ) lying on a conical surface concentric with the longitudinal axis (X), and a second edge ( 92 ), lying on a conical surface substantially perpendicular to the first edge ( 91 ).

         5 . The capsule according to claim 4 , wherein the connecting lip ( 9 ) comprises a plurality of active tracts ( 93 ), each of which is provided with a first and a second edge ( 91 , 92 ), which are interconnected by joining tracts ( 94 ).

6 . The capsule according to claim 4 , wherein the first and second edges ( 91 , 92 ) alternate with respect to each other along the connecting lip ( 9 ).

7 . The capsule according to claim 4 , wherein the connecting lip ( 9 ) comprises a plurality of through openings (C).

8 . The closure capsule for containers, comprising: an upper wall ( 2 ); a lateral portion ( 3 ) connected to the upper wall ( 2 ); a central axis (X), with which the upper wall ( 2 ) and the lateral portion ( 3 ) are concentric; and at least one radial rib ( 51 ), which is associated with the upper wall ( 2 ), characterized in that the rib ( 51 ) has one end portion disposed in proximity to or at the central axis (X).

9 . The capsule according to claim 8 , comprising two radial ribs ( 51 , 52 ) associated with the upper wall ( 2 ) and disposed asymmetrically with respect to the central axis ( 3 ).

10 . The capsule according to claim 9 , comprising two or more radial ribs ( 51 , 52 ) separated by angular pitches that are not constant about the central axis (X).

11 . The capsule according to claim 8 , wherein the lower part of the upper wall is provided with a sealing lip ( 41 ) and the ribs ( 51 , 52 ) extend between the central axis (X) and the sealing lip ( 41 ).

         12 . The capsule according to claim 8 , wherein the ribs ( 51 , 52 ) project below the upper wall ( 2 ).
