Abstract

An information processing device includes a comment collection unit that collects comments on a submission target that progresses with the passage of time, a comment selection unit that selects comments to be presented from collected comments to a user based on the characteristics of the user, a display control unit that controls the display of the selected comments so that the user is able to give evaluations for the selected comments, and an evaluation collection unit that collects the evaluations given by the user.

         2 . An information processing apparatus comprising:
 circuitry configured to:
 collect comments on information; 
 analyze the comments to determine a feature amount of comments; 
 select a comment based on the feature amount of comments and a user profile; 
 receive an evaluation of the comment from a user; 
 update the user profile based on the evaluation; and 
 select another comment based on the updated user profile. 
   
     
     
         3 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the collected comments on the information progresses with a passage of time. 
     
     
         4 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the circuitry is configured to categorize each of the comments as a positive comment or a negative comment. 
     
     
         5 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the circuitry is configured to perform control to distinguish and display positive comments and negative comments. 
     
     
         6 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the evaluation of the comment is based on a plurality of different levels of evaluations. 
     
     
         7 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the circuitry is configured to detect keywords to be watched from the collected comments.

The information processing apparatus according to  claim 7 , wherein the circuitry is configured to detect the keywords based on at least one of a frequency of appearance within the collected comments, changes in the frequency of appearance, and a distribution of the frequency of appearance. 
     
     
         9 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the feature amount of comments includes at least one of a feature amount of a writing style, phrases that appear, a frequency with which each phrase appears, and a result of categorizing into positive comments and negative comments. 
     
     
         10 . The information processing device according to  claim 2 , wherein the circuitry is configured to change an order of displaying positive comments and negative comments based on a ratio of positive comments and negative comments. 
     
     
         11 . The information processing device according to  claim 2 , wherein the circuitry is configured to control a display to display the another comment. 
     
     
         12 . The information processing device according to  claim 11 , wherein the circuitry is configured to receive an evaluation of the another comment from the user. 
     
     
         13 . The information processing device according to  claim 2 , wherein the circuitry is configured to control a display to display a slider control for providing the evaluation. 
     
     
         14 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the evaluation of the comment is based on a plurality of different levels of stars. 
     
     
         15 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the circuitry is configured to categorize the collected comments into a plurality of different classes. 
     
     
         16 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the circuitry is configured to categorize each of the comments as a positive comment, a neutral comment or a negative comment. 
     
     
         17 . The information processing device according to  claim 2 , wherein the circuitry is configured to prioritize and select comments of other users that are being watched by the user. 
     
     
         18 . An information processing method by an information processing device including circuitry, the method comprising:
 collecting, by the circuitry, comments on information;   analyzing, by the circuitry, the comments to determine a feature amount of comments;   selecting, by the circuitry, a comment based on the feature amount of comments and a user profile;   receiving, by the circuitry, an evaluation of the comment from a user;   updating, by the circuitry, the user profile based on the evaluation; and   selecting, by the circuitry, another comment based on the updated user profile.   
     
     
         19 . The information processing method according to  claim 18 , wherein the collected comments on the information progresses with a passage of time. 
     
     
         20 . A non-transitory computer readable medium having a computer program recorded thereon, the computer program configured to perform a method when executed on a computer, the method comprising:
 collecting comments on information;   analyzing the comments to determine a feature amount of comments;   selecting a comment based on the feature amount of comments and a user profile;   receiving an evaluation of the comment from a user;   updating the user profile based on the evaluation; and   selecting another comment based on the updated user profile.   
     
     
         21 . The non-transitory computer readable medium according to  claim 18 , wherein the collected comments on the information progresses with a passage of time.
