Abstract
A portable sensing module for a fitness equipment includes a sensing unit, a center control unit, a storage unit, a wireless transceiver and a connecting unit and is capable of collecting static data of the fitness equipment and dynamic data indicating the status of the user. The sensing module connects the fitness equipment to follower equipments in a wire or wireless manner, thus expanding the function of the fitness equipments. A data transmission process includes: using the sensing unit to detect the status of the fitness equipment; transmitting the data to the center control unit and converting it into computable data, then computing; comparing the data with the data sheets stored in the storage unit and then encoding it into codes usable by the follower equipments; packaging the codes into usable information; and using the connecting unit and the wireless transceiver to transmit the data to the follower equipments.

1 . A portable sensing module for a fitness equipment, comprising:
a sensing unit, a center control unit, a storage unit, a wireless transceiver and a connecting unit; wherein the sensing unit is a contact or non-contact sensor connected to the center control unit, the center control unit is connected to the storage unit, the wireless transceiver and the connecting unit, the wireless transceiver and the connecting unit are used to connect follower equipments which include a display or household audio and video equipment or handheld 3C equipment; the center control unit is a MCU, the storage unit is used to store relative data sheets, including various electronic signals and formats corresponding to data detected by the sensing unit, and product code for the follower equipments, the household audio and video equipment or handheld 3C equipment, the wireless transceiver is an antenna for connecting the follower equipments in a wireless manner, and the connecting unit is an input and output port for connection of the follower equipments via wire.

The portable sensing module for the fitness equipment as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the sensing unit includes a contact roller pivoted to a mounting member which is formed with an elongated adjustment hole, the fitness equipment is provided on a support member of a base with a fixing hole, a bolt is inserted through the adjustment hole and the fixing hole and screwed with a nut, so that the roller comes into contact with the fitness equipment and will drive a rotary shaft to rotate when a user runs on the fitness equipment, the roller is built-in with a counter for counting rotation speed of the roller.

The portable sensing module for the fitness equipment as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the sensing unit is a contact revolution counter, or a non-contact counter which includes grating sensor, or laser sensor or wave sensor, used to create dynamic data by detecting the state of the fitness equipment when the user is working out on it, or the sensing unit is a level sensor or an initial sensor used to create static data by detecting the level or slope or height of the fitness equipment.
4 . A data transmission process for using the portable sensing module as claimed in claim 1 comprising the following steps:
using the sensing unit to detect the status of the fitness equipment, including the dynamic data indicating the status of the user, and the static data of the fitness equipment;
transmitting the data to the center control unit and converting it into computable data, then computing;
comparing the data obtained from previous step with the data sheets stored in the storage unit and then encoding it into codes transmittable or usable by the follower equipments;
packaging the codes into data useable by the follower equipments; and
