Content supply system and content supply method thereof and display device and control method thereof

Abstract

A content supply system and a content supply method thereof, and a display device and a control method thereof which supplies content to the display apparatus, are disclosed. A content supply system, including a user terminal which is used to purchase content; a content supply server which stores therein purchase description information of the first content purchased through the user terminal, and supplies second content based on the purchase description information of the purchased first content; and a display device which transmits usage authorization information to the content supply server corresponding to the purchase description information of the purchased first content, and receives the second content from the content supply server. The present invention supplies content which is purchased by a user through a user terminal and enables a user to use the content without double payment for the content.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A content supply system, comprising:
 a mobile terminal configured to purchase at least one content;   a server configured to receive purchase description information relating to the purchased content from the mobile terminal and configured to store the received purchase description information; and   a display device configured to communicate with the server and to transmit user identification information to the server,   wherein the server is configured to determine whether the user identification information received from the display device corresponds to the stored purchase description information of the purchased content, and wherein the display device is configured to receive the purchased content when the user identification information corresponds to the purchase description information of the purchased content.   
     
     
         2 . The content supply system according to  claim 1 , wherein the display device accesses the server in response to entering into an Internet service. 
     
     
         3 . The content supply system according to  claim 1 , wherein the server stores the content purchased through the mobile terminal. 
     
     
         4 . The content supply system according to  claim 3 , wherein the server supplies the stored content corresponding to the user identification information to the display device. 
     
     
         5 . The content supply system according to  claim 3 , wherein the server supplies the stored content corresponding to the user identification information to the display device in response to the display device accepting the supplying of the content. 
     
     
         6 . A content supply method, comprising:
 purchasing at least one content through a mobile terminal;   receiving and storing purchase description information of the purchased content by a server;   transmitting user identification information to the server by a display device;   determining whether the user identification information received from the display device corresponds to the stored purchase description information of the purchased content by the server; and   receiving by the display device, the purchased content when the user identification information corresponds to the purchase description information of the purchased content.   
     
     
         7 . The method according to  claim 6 , wherein the display device accesses the server in response to entering into an Internet service. 
     
     
         8 . The method according to  claim 6 , wherein the server stores the content purchased through the mobile terminal. 
     
     
         9 . The method according to  claim 8 , wherein the server supplies the stored content corresponding to the user identification information to the display device. 
     
     
         10 . The method according to  claim 8 , wherein the server supplies the stored content corresponding to the user identification information to the display device in response to the display device accepting the supplying of the content. 
     
     
         11 . A display device comprising:
 a communication unit which is configured to communicate with a server which is configured to store purchase description information of a content purchased through a mobile terminal;   a display; and   a controller which is configured to communicate with the server via the communication unit, to transmit user identification information to the server, and to receive the purchased content when the user identification information corresponds to the purchase description information of the purchased content.   
     
     
         12 . A display device according to  claim 11 , wherein the controller is configured to access the server in response to entering into an Internet service. 
     
     
         13 . A display device according to  claim 11 , wherein the controller is configured to receive the stored purchase description information of the purchased content corresponding to the user identification information from the server and to display the received purchase description information of the purchased content. 
     
     
         14 . A display device according to  claim 11 , wherein the controller is configured to receive the purchased content corresponding to the displayed purchase description information based on a user input. 
     
     
         15 . A control method of a display device, the method comprising:
 communicating with a server which is configured to stores purchase description information of a content purchased through a mobile terminal;   transmitting user identification information to the server; and   receiving the purchased content when the user identification information corresponds to the purchase description information of the purchased content.   
     
     
         16 . The method according to  claim 15 , further comprising accessing the server in response to entering into an Internet service. 
     
     
         17 . The method according to  claim 15 , further comprising:
 receiving the stored purchase description information of the purchased content corresponding to the user identification information from the server;   displaying the received purchase description information of the purchased content.   
     
     
         18 . The method according to  claim 15 , further comprising, receiving the purchased content corresponding to the displayed purchase description information based on a user input.
