Sand bucket with handle for use on golf course

Abstract

In a specialized sand bucket for use in golfing, the bucket is pivotably affixed to a durable metal handle and is covered by an easy-lifting, tight-fitting lid. The scoop fits easily inside for convenient carrying. A permanently affixed metal stand elevates the bucket to a comfortable height and reduces the wear on the bucket when it is being carried by hand or in the back of a golf cart.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A sand bucket for use in golf comprising a rectangular tapered bucket, said rectangular tapered bucket being affixed pivotably at two opposing points to a semicircular handle; said rectangular tapered bucked being reclosably sealable by a hinged tight-fitting lid; and said rectangular tapered bucket being affixed to a rigid stand. 
     
     
         2 . The sand bucket for use in golf of  claim 1  wherein said rigid stand is of a comfortable height. 
     
     
         3 . The sand bucket for use in golf of  claim 1  further comprising a scoop; said scoop and said rectangular tapered bucket being sized such that said scoop fits within said rectangular tapered bucket. 
     
     
         4 . The sand bucket for use in golf of  claim 2  further comprising a scoop; said scoop and said rectangular tapered bucket being sized such that said scoop fits within said rectangular tapered bucket. 
     
     
         5 . A method of using the sand bucket for use in golf of  claim 1  comprising filling said rectangular tapered bucket with a quantity of sand, carrying said rectangular tapered bucket by said semicircular handle for a round of golf, and using small portions of said quantity of sand to repair ground divots as needed. 
     
     
         6 . A method of using the sand bucket for use in golf of  claim 2  comprising filling said rectangular tapered bucket with a quantity of sand, carrying said rectangular tapered bucket by said semicircular handle for a round of golf, and using small portions of said quantity of sand to repair ground divots as needed. 
     
     
         7 . A method of using the sand bucket for use in golf of  claim 3  comprising filling said rectangular tapered bucket with a quantity of sand, carrying said rectangular tapered bucket by said semicircular handle for a round of golf, and using small portions of said quantity of sand to repair ground divots as needed. 
     
     
         8 . A method of using the sand bucket for use in golf of  claim 4  comprising filling said rectangular tapered bucket with a quantity of sand, carrying said rectangular tapered bucket by said semicircular handle for a round of golf, and using small portions of said quantity of sand to repair ground divots as needed. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 7  further comprising using said scoop to remove said small portions of said quantity of sand from said rectangular tapered bucket and further using said scoop to apply and repair said small portions of said quantity of sands to ground divots as needed. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 8  further comprising using said scoop to remove said small portions of said quantity of sand from said rectangular tapered bucket and further using said scoop to apply and repair said small portions of said quantity of sands to ground divots as needed.
