Dispensing Device

Abstract

Dispensing devices are described which can contain at least one substance(s) that can be squished, emptied, extruded, and/or poured out. The dispensing devices can comprise an enclosure, a circumferential edge portion, a dispensing port, and a squeezable portion.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A dispensing device comprising:
 an enclosure including an internal volume;   a squeezable portion;   a dispensing port; and   a circumferential edge portion wherein the circumferential edge portion separates the dispensing device into a top portion and a bottom portion;   wherein the top portion is made of a more rigid polymer than the bottom portion and wherein the dispensing port is located at the circumferential edge portion.   
     
     
         2 . A dispensing device according to  claim 1 , wherein the internal volume is about 0.5 fluid ounces to about 6.0 fluid ounces. 
     
     
         3 . A dispensing device according to  claim 1 , wherein the internal volume contains at least one substance wherein the at least one substance is a condiment, mayonnaise, sweetened condensed milk, lotion, soap, gel, body oil, cream, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, baby Acetaminophen, or a medicament. 
     
     
         4 . A dispensing device according to  claim 1 , wherein the circumferential edge portion is a ring, securing mechanism, border, or rim. 
     
     
         5 . A dispensing device according to  claim 1 , wherein the dispensing port is an appendage configured to be torn along a perforated edge. 
     
     
         6 . A dispensing device according to  claim 3 , wherein the at least one substance is dispensed from the dispensing device by applying pressure to the squeezable portion. 
     
     
         7 . A dispensing device according to  claim 1 , wherein the dispensing device is formed from a compressible material wherein the compressible material comprises at least one polymer. 
     
     
         8 . A dispensing device according to  claim 1 , wherein the dispensing device comprises a substantially circular cross-section. 
     
     
         9 . A dispensing device comprising:
 an enclosure including an internal volume;   a squeezable portion;   a dispensing port;   a dispensing port lid; and   a circumferential edge portion wherein the circumferential edge portion separates the dispensing device into a top portion including the dispensing port and the dispensing port lid and a bottom portion;   wherein the dispensing port lid is a spreader having a distal end configured to spread at least one substance housed in the enclosure.   
     
     
         10 . A dispensing device according to  claim 9 , wherein the internal volume is about 0.5 fluid ounces to about 6.0 fluid ounces. 
     
     
         11 . A dispensing device according to  claim 9 , wherein the circumferential edge portion is a ring, securing mechanism, border, or rim. 
     
     
         12 . A dispensing device according to  claim 9 , wherein the dispensing device is formed from a compressible material wherein the compressible material comprises at least one polymer. 
     
     
         13 . A dispensing device according to  claim 9 , wherein the dispensing device comprises a substantially circular cross-section. 
     
     
         14 . A dispensing device comprising:
 an enclosure including an internal volume;   a squeezable portion;   a dispensing port;   a nozzle; and   a circumferential edge portion wherein the circumferential edge portion separates the dispensing device into a top portion including the dispensing port and a bottom portion;   wherein the top portion is made of a more rigid polymer than the bottom portion and wherein the nozzle is situated within the dispensing port.   
     
     
         15 . A dispensing device according to  claim 14 , wherein the nozzle is a one way nozzle. 
     
     
         16 . A dispensing device according to  claim 14 , wherein the nozzle is a spray nozzle. 
     
     
         17 . A dispensing device according to  claim 14 , wherein the internal volume is about 0.5 fluid ounces to about 6.0 fluid ounces. 
     
     
         18 . A dispensing device according to  claim 14 , wherein the internal volume contains at least one substance. 
     
     
         19 . A dispensing device according to  claim 14 , wherein the dispensing device is formed from a compressible material wherein the compressible material comprises at least one polymer. 
     
     
         20 . A dispensing device according to  claim 14 , wherein the dispensing device comprises a substantially circular cross-section.
