Holder and washing machine having the same
Abstract
A washing machine having a holder, which is configured to fix a hose in a simplified manner, thus achieving enhanced assembly efficiency and productivity. The washing machine includes a cabinet defining an outer appearance of the washing machine, a tub placed in the cabinet, a circulation pump placed beneath the tub, a circulation hose connected to the circulation pump and serving to supply wash water pumped by the circulation pump into the tub, and a holder provided at a position of the tub to fix the circulation hose. The holder includes at least one fixing protrusion protruding from a front surface of the tub.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A washing machine comprising:
a cabinet having a front opening through which laundry can be loaded; a tub disposed in the cabinet; a drum rotatably disposed in the tub; a door configured to engage the front opening of the cabinet; a diaphragm configured to provide sealing between the tub and the front opening; and a circulation hose having a first end connected to a circulation pump and a second end connected to the diaphragm, wherein a part of the circulation hose, extending parallel to a front side of the tub, is engaged with the front side of the tub.
2 . The washing machine of claim 1 , wherein the door includes a central transparent portion protruding into the drum, and
the circulated wash water projected from the second end of the circulation hose is visible through the central transparent portion of the door.
3 . The washing machine of claim 1 , wherein the diaphragm includes an injection hole, the second end of the circulation hose being coupled to the injection hole.
4 . The washing machine of claim 1 , further comprising a holder provided at the front side of the tub to fix the circulation hose in between the first and second ends of the circulation hose,
wherein the holder includes at least one fixing protrusion protruding from a front surface of the tub.
5 . The washing machine according to claim 4 , wherein the holder further includes a guide rib protruding from the front surface of the tub around the fixing protrusion.
6 . The washing machine according to claim 4 , wherein the holder further includes a fixing plate coupled with the at least one fixing protrusion; and
the fixing plate includes a first close-contact portion surrounding an outer peripheral surface of the circulation hose to allow the circulation hose to come into close contact with the front surface of the tub, and a second close-contact portion bent from either end of the first close-contact portion to come into close contact at a surface thereof with the front surface of the tub.
7 . The washing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the tub includes a pair of supporting ribs provided at the front side, the pair of supporting ribs being configured to fix the circulation hose in between the first and second ends of the circulation hose.
8 . A washing machine comprising:
a cabinet defining an outer appearance of the washing machine and including an opening; a door to open and close the opening; a tub placed in the cabinet; a diaphragm connecting the front opening and the tub; a circulation pump; and a circulation hose having a first end connected to the circulation pump and a second end connected to the diaphragm, wherein a part of the circulation hose is engaged with a front side of the tub at a location adjacent to a front annular edge of the tub.
9 . The washing machine of claim 8 , wherein the diaphragm includes an injection hole, the second end of the circulation hose being coupled to the injection hole.
10 . The washing machine of claim 8 , wherein the second end of the circulation hose is inserted in the injection hole so that wash water pumped through the circulation hose is sprayed to an opposite side of the diaphragm from where the injection hole is positioned.
11 . The washing machine of claim 8 , further comprising a holder positioned on the tub to fix the circulation hose in between the first and second ends of the circulation hose,
wherein the holder includes at least one fixing protrusion protruding from a front surface of the tub.
12 . The washing machine according to claim 11 , wherein the holder further includes a guide rib protruding from the front surface of the tub around the fixing protrusion.
13 . The washing machine according to claim 8 , wherein the tub includes a pair of supporting ribs provided at the front side, the pair of supporting ribs being configured to fix the circulation hose in between the first and second ends of the circulation hose.
14 . A washing machine comprising:
a cabinet having a front opening through which laundry can be loaded; a tub disposed in the cabinet; a drum rotatably disposed in the tub; a door configured to engage the front opening of the cabinet; and a circulation hose having a first end connected to a circulation pump and a second end configured to project wash water pumped by the circulation pump to an inside of the drum, wherein a part of the circulation hose is secured to a front side of the tub at a location adjacent to a front annular edge of the tub, the secured part of the circulation hose extending parallel to the front side of the tub.
15 . The washing machine of claim 14 , wherein the door includes a central transparent portion protruding into the drum, and
the circulated wash water projected from the second end of the circulation hose is visible through the central transparent portion of the door.
16 . The washing machine of claim 14 , further comprising a holder provided at the front annular edge to fix the circulation hose in between the first and second ends of the circulation hose,
wherein the holder includes at least one fixing protrusion protruding from a front surface of the tub.
17 . The washing machine according to claim 16 , wherein the holder further includes a guide rib protruding from the front surface of the tub around the fixing protrusion.
18 . The washing machine according to claim 16 , wherein the holder further includes a fixing plate coupled with the at least one fixing protrusion; and
the fixing plate includes a first close-contact portion surrounding an outer peripheral surface of the circulation hose to allow the circulation hose to come into close contact with the front surface of the tub, and a second close-contact portion bent from either end of the first close-contact portion to come into close contact at a surface thereof with the front surface of the tub.
19 . The washing machine according to claim 14 , wherein the tub includes a pair of supporting ribs provided at the front annular edge, the pair of supporting ribs being configured to fix the circulation hose in between the first and second ends of the circulation hose.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
