Golf game device, golf game server, and golf game system
Abstract
A novel golf game device includes a field simulating a green, a cup provided in the field, a putting position designating section which designates, to a player, a putting position on the field from where the player hits a ball, a storage section which stores dominant hand information about a dominant hand of the player, and a control section which determines a dominant hand of the player on the basis of the dominant hand information, determines a putting position on the field in accordance with the player's dominant hand, and performs control such that the putting position designating section designates the determined putting position to the player.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A golf game device comprising:
a field simulating a green; a cup provided in the field; a putting position designating section which designates, to a player, a putting position on the field from where the player hits a ball; a storage section which stores dominant hand information about a dominant hand of the player; and a control section which determines the dominant hand of the player on the basis of the dominant hand information, determines a putting position on the field in accordance with the player's dominant hand, and performs control such that the putting position designating section designates the determined putting position to the player.
2 . The golf game device according to claim 1 , wherein in the case where the control section determines that the player is a right hander as a result of the determination of the player's dominant hand on the basis of the dominant hand information, the control section determines the putting position on the field such that, of an area for right handers and an area for left handers preset in the field, the putting position falls within the area for the right handers.
3 . The golf game device according to claim 2 , wherein
the field is in a rectangular shape, the cup is located near one short side among long and short sides of the field, and when the field is divided in a longitudinal direction along the long sides into two halves of a right-side area, located on the player's right hand side when the short side near which the cup is located is seen from the other short side, and a left-side area, located on the player's left hand side, the area for the right handers corresponds to the right-side area out of the right-side area and the left-side area of the field.
4 . The golf game device according to claim 1 , wherein in the case where the control section determines that the player is a left hander as a result of the determination of the player's dominant hand on the basis of the dominant hand information, the control section determines the putting position on the field such that, of an area for right handers and an area for left handers preset in the field, the putting position falls within the area for the left handers.
5 . The golf game device according to claim 4 , wherein
the field is in a rectangular shape, the cup is located near one short side among long and short sides of the field, and when the field is divided in a longitudinal direction along the long sides into two halves of a right-side area, located on the player's right hand side when the short side near which the cup is located is seen from the other short side, and a left-side area, located on the player's left hand side, the area for the left handers corresponds to the left-side area out of the right-side area and the left-side area of the field.
6 . A golf game system having a plurality of golf game devices and a golf game server, the golf game server being connected to the plurality of golf game devices via a network,
the golf game server comprising:
a storage section which stores dominant hand information about a dominant hand of a player; and
a transmitting section which transmits the dominant hand information of the player to the golf game device via the network;
the golf game device comprising:
a field simulating a green;
a cup provided in the field;
a ball-in-cup detecting section which detects that a golf ball has entered the cup;
a putting position designating section which designates, to a player, a putting position on the field from where the player hits a ball;
a receiving section which receives the dominant hand information of the player transmitted from the golf game server via the network; and
a control section which determines a dominant hand of the player on the basis of the dominant hand information, determines a putting position on the field in accordance with the player's dominant hand, and performs control such that the putting position designating section designates the determined putting position to the player,
the control section being operable, in response to the player hitting a golf ball set at the putting position, to determine whether the hit golf ball has entered the cup, on the basis of a detection signal from the ball-in-cup detecting section, and control the progress of a golf game on the basis of the determination result.
7 . A golf game server comprising:
a storage section which stores dominant hand information about a dominant hand of a player; and a transmitting section which transmits the dominant hand information of the player to a golf game device via a network; the golf game server being connected via the network to the golf game device, the golf game device including a field simulating a green, a cup provided in the field, a ball-in-cup detecting section which detects that a golf ball has entered the cup, a putting position designating section which designates, to a player, a putting position on the field from where the player hits a ball, a receiving section which receives the dominant hand information of the player transmitted from the golf game server via the network, and a control section which determines a dominant hand of the player on the basis of the dominant hand information, determines a putting position on the field in accordance with the player's dominant hand, and performs control such that the putting position designating section designates the determined putting position to the player, the control section being operable, in response to the player hitting a golf ball set at the putting position, to determine whether the hit golf ball has entered the cup, on the basis of a detection signal from the ball-in-cup detecting section, and control the progress of a golf game on the basis of the determination result.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
